looking backup image for amiko alien 2 for use in the uk im not worried about tv guide i just need all uk channels and a plugin that allows me to update channels on the box when there is a frequency change.We have had this box 2 years now and never has it worked proberly most backup images just dont seem to work and those images i get kind of working i cant side load tspanel , rats channel list or anyone elses.

AutoBouquets plugin should do what you need.. None of the add-on panels on TSPanel are compatible with sh4 / spark receivers, so there`s no point trying to install it..

Have you tried CaptainBlastXD's image? I think most people are happy with it, (although I do not use...)http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=84654&p=279111&viewfull=1#post279111

Or look for Fano's Hyperion 4.5 image which should also be ok.

I would plump for the hyperion 4.5 its a good stable image easy to navigate and easy to keep updated set autobouquets and epg to update everyday the box will look after itself
