Hello all I have recently purchased the Xtrend ET8000 and all is going good so far. I am wanting to install an internal HDD (1TB) for recording but I would like your advice on whether I should get a 2.5 inch drive or 3.5. I'm thinking 2.5 is better but do you guys have any specific recommendations of which HDD is good for this? And when I buy a HDD can I just put it straight into the Xtrend straight outta the box?
Last question is that the fan on the Xtrend seems to get noisy and I have been fiddling about with it on the plugin which controls the speed etc, would it matter if I just turnt it off or does it need to be on?
