Hi Everybody
I hope this is in the right place apologies if it isn't.
I am trying to get a dm500c up and running, I have tried installing various Cccam and mgcamd and no luck. I believe now after rooting through the forum that the correct one is Cccam 2.1.3. I tried installing this from a download here ( from two different locations) and it says - binary file corrupt, maybe it is renamed incorrectly- on the box, both downloads. I renamed it "Cccam" and put it in var/bin/emu should anything else be added to the file name. Also does anyone know the correct Mgcamd so I can try that.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
CCCam dm500c commando 15.1a

WOW.Cheers for the quick reply, do the files have to be renamed, they are saying attachment .php, sorry to mither. I'm just a little confused.

download the files in the link provided and follow the instructions given in the link provided
QuoteFor CCcam > Extract the attached file > FTP CCcam to /var/bin/emu/ > FTP config files to /var/etc/.
For mgcamd > Extract the attached file > FTP mgcamd to /var/bin/emu/. FTP libcrypto.so.0.9.7 to /var/lib/ give permissions 644 > FTP config files to /var/keys/
hope this helps

Hi Guys
Tried the Cccam as mentioned above. Now blue button menu is saying "No third party softcam binary was found".
Obviously I'm still missing something. Could not find the libcrypto file for the Mgamd option. -
Can you explain the steps you took in detail how you tried to add CCcam please.
libcrypto.so.0.9.7 file is inside the mgcamd 1.38 for commando image attachment. The downloads from the link provided are packed as an rar file, so extract with winrar..
You could try a backup that already has CCcam installed => COMMANDO 15.d CCcam2.1.3-OSCam r10775

Hi Master G
I got pi***d off with it so I ended up flashing openpli jade and got it to work with that. It was a friend's box and he asked me to have a look at it but I'm only a newbie myself and used it to experiment. It seems sorted now and I pointed him in the direction of this site and how helpful you've been.
Cheers. -
