good image available

    im looking for a setup guide for the zgemma h1 i dont know if we are allowed to discuss lines in here but ideally i am looking for a guide that i can read to help me understand how to flash set up cam so all i have to do is input my line details i see lots of guides for different things iv been going for days and to be honest im tying myself in knots any help much appreciated thanks for taking time to read my post

    hi i have set up my zgemma h1 box with atv 5.1 image i have installed a cam manager in my plugins im running mgcamd but when i press blue button only option i get is to run cccam is the softcam and the cam manager different


    hi everyone im new to the cs scene and glad to be in forum im currently trying to set my zgemma box up with a atv 5.1 image iv been reading people running other images anyway iv installed that much on the box via ftp im looking for a fresh start can ayone suggest a goot image for a newbie thanks

    Use the attached mgcamd. Configs directory is /usr/keys..
    The plugin comes packed as an ipk file. You can install it a number of different ways:


    1) Copy to USB stick, insert into the receiver then follow on screen prompts..


    2) With an FTP tool like DCC or Filezilla send the ipk to /tmp folder on the receiver then install in image menu ( Blue Button > Software management > Install Local Extensions).


    3) With an FTP tool like DCC or Filezilla send the ipk to /tmp folder then use this command in telnet/putty to install:


    Code
    opkg install /tmp/*.ipk


    4) With DCC connect to the receiver then click Tools > Packages > Upload Package > Select the IPK..


    5) Vu+ Control Center has an ipk installer..

    OpenATV is one of the best images available for this receiver, so why not give it a try..

    ok il stick with that im still having serious issues getting these cams set up 3 days and counting lol

    master g im sorry bud but i think i need to start from the beggining again i have tied myself in knots for days but i have gained plenty of very good advice i have a vermin line my dad has a sly line i want to set this box up test it in my house then take it to him is there a guide for me to follow i dont want to be a pain keeping asking for help id ratjher be helping others 1 last thing iv had a guy on another forum badgering me to pay for a line is this correct and sorry to admin if we are not allowed to discuss this

    i installed everything enigma 2 ipk pressed menu plugins camd menager thats how its spelled : } start mgcamd is this correct so far?
    then i press blue button i get a option to start cam but only 1 option and its cccam i thought this would be mgcamd or am i infact running both tuners at same time this is what i mean by being in knots 1 is cam manager 1 is softcam if i can sort this bit out all i will need to do is edit in ftp and put my line in

    sorry i think you should slap all my posts and my face together i used to play around alot with cable before nagra3 and to be honest i gave it up wish i never because i didnt realise how interesting what was ahead anyways im sure i dont need to tell you what iv already mentioned in other posts help me set this bloody box up lol if i get this set up and can experiment a bit more i beleive i could be a good addition to your forum cheers again great forum

    cccam for sky? mgcamd for cable? start cam manager can choose from numerous cams oscam mgcamd cccam and so on confusing bit blue button start cam only option cccam aghhhhh lol

    thats right but when i push right it says no cam so i beleive i dont have it installed i am being a total noob here but whats difference with the softcam and the cam manager

    listen lads im really sorry but i think i might be a wee bit in over my head between work kids my mrs really starting to growl now nothing has really changed there but maybe time to give up on this project and accept defeat lol

    This confusing now I do have my own card for vermin my dad as sly I'd like to set a few boxes up to share I'm trying to flash this box and use cccam and mgcamd just to get a understanding how this all works I will look more into using my card and box pic as a server after I ave learned a bit more in here thanks everyone for there help
