Help needed with a DM800HD PRO PVR – frozen in a first stage boot loop (Box LCD display shows flickering Dream Multimedia logo, with no boot progress bar). Grateful for any insight this community might provide.
DETAILS: -
Dreambox 800HD pro, ALPS-801A Tuner (M version), Sim 2.10, SSL84b, Gemini5.1
Seems a genuine box with holograph labels inside on sim, correct board markings, right number of capacitors etc. (though cannot be 100% sure).
Issue occurred on flashing with DM800HDse-2.10-SSL84b. Flash process initiated from box with image on USB, using plugin (enigma2-plugin-extensions-dflash_0.101_mipsel.ipk).
Box stuck on Dream Multimedia logo, which flickers every couple of seconds. Red light constantly ON. Nothing else on display, no boot progress bar etc. HyperTerminal connection through serial port shows the following text, repeated continuously (in line with display blinking).

Additional notes: -
1) Box not found in DreamUP, stops at "Connection prepared, now switch on the dreambox!". Null modem cable confirmed working ok with another working DM800.
2) Tried various DreamUP versions, from 1.3.3.4 to 1.3.3.11 including patched versions, with no luck. Using combinations of both COM port + Network ON / OFF.
3) Applying “DM800_Repair.exe” or “Enforcer” on these DreamUp versions does enable the Flash button (other than with patched version). On flash however get a “file too big” error on any image I apply
4) Using DreamUP with a working DM800 and then switching cables when working DreamUp in HTTP mode results in DreamUP hanging on “Validating Checksum” upon Flash.
5) “NCF SIM2 v3.0” and “DreamBox-OptiFlasher-Pro-E2-v1.0.9b” intermittently find box but return “Wrong boot response” error and stop.
6) “FerrariFiller_1_3_3_7FSE” returns no results
7) “SUNRAY-FlashUP” returns no results
8) Holding ON button on box and then plugging in power does not change anything.
9) Above attempts made with Serial + RJ45 network cable both connected and disconnected. No IP address shown by system at any point.
