no channels

hi everytime i scan for cable channels i keep getting error nothing to scan ive ftp the cable xml file to the locations suggested still no go wont find any channels using lates bh image

Not well versed on cable setup as not in a cable area but im sure you need a network node or id

were would i find the option to put net id in bh image

If you have already put the cable.xml into your box then i would check in menu/setup/service searching/tuner configuration (select your cable tuner and see if you can input the settings there)
