i have got my root password sorted on server but if i try to log in using putty as root says password incorrect
-
Login through putty with the username & password you setup on the initial install....
Then type sudo su ( you will be asked for your password again)
Now run the script to install cccam/oscam.

You don`t login as root. Login as the username you first setup.
This gives the username root privilages for ssh, ftp etc.. => Enable Root Access To Your New Ubuntu Server

Is this what you mean " chmod 755 /tmp/CCcamOscamInstall.sh " ? If so, that is done in putty/telnet. Or you can use your FTP tool, FTP to /tmp folder right click on CCcamOscamInstall.sh and change permissions/attributes to 755..

With the FTP tool navigate to /tmp folder > Check you have cccamoscam_install_package" Folder & CCcamOscamInstall.sh. If they are not there move them to this /tmp folder.
Now follow the guide again from "chmod the Script with this command"..
