Hi there, I have runned into a problem after upgrading my OpenPLi image on my dreambox 800hd se V2 I have seen so many sites but they all talk about connecting with a null cable but it's rather unfortunate my box doesn't have a null port at the back . It was working fine before the update. Any help will be much appreciated, please help me out. Many thanks.

On the back of your box is there a mini flash up button?

I don't think it can be done if there isn't a serial port, I thought all dm800se had ports, if it is a brick now I'd go for an original box like vu zero

can be done without seriel port if it has the miniflash button on back failing that it will have miniusb method

my boxes have mini flash button never used the mini usb port thats the way forward mate
use that use a seriel usb adaptor & lan to recover

How did you sort it, when I press mini flash it comes up 2nd stage failed. Then when you press on off button to connect to dream up and to get ip it goes back to r01 no ca error. Even when I try with all cables in and then holding mini flash at same time I cant connect.
Forgot to add dm800se c (CABLE) a8p sim. Any help appreciated.
