Hi, I have been Given an N Line and have been told i can re-share it with only a few people ( max 4-5 ) i want to share to a couple of family members over the internet i have a VU+ DUO with VIX installed with OSCAM ( downloaded from the Plugins menu ) How can i add this line and use it myself but also share it to a few others and add the lines to give to them? i have searched everywhere for a tutorial on doing this but can't seem to find one only ones for a VPS but i don't want to add loads of people as its just for a couple of family. Any help is appreciated.

Convert the N line to a [reader] with CCcam2oscam > Copy/paste/save the [reader] into oscam.server file > Use the attached oscam.conf & .user that has dvbapi configured > FTP oscam configs to /etc/tuxbox/config folder.
To setup a share create an [account] in oscam.user for each peer.. (description, user & password parameters can be changed to your own details)
For example:
oscam.userCode
Display More[account] description = peer1 user = [COLOR='#FF0000']linuxsat1[/COLOR] pwd = [COLOR='#FF0000']support1[/COLOR] group = 1 keepalive = 1 [account] description = peer2 user = [COLOR='#FF0000']linuxsat2[/COLOR] pwd = [COLOR='#FF0000']support2[/COLOR] group = 1 keepalive = 1 [account] description = peer3 user = [COLOR='#FF0000']linuxsat3[/COLOR] pwd = [COLOR='#FF0000']support3[/COLOR] group = 1 keepalive = 1In oscam.conf you should have the [cccam] protocol. port = 12000 can be changed to your own port.
For example:
oscam.confYou can now give out C lines. your.hostname.org will be your dynamic hostname & 12000 will be the cccam port which is open in your router..

I have donated! Also i have set this up and its working but the only problem is my VU+ gets quite Hot now and sometimes crashes and needs to be rebooted. Are there any good tutorials on setting OSCAM up on a VPS? a cheap one will do since i am only connecting 4-5 people anyway? i searched the forum and only saw a guide for windows. I am quite new at setting up servers so need a tutorial starting from the beginning. Sorry to be a Sponge will donate again in couple of days. Cheers.

You don`t need a vps, just an old laptop/pc.. Tutorial - Ubuntu Server 11.10, 12.xx, 13.04 x32/x64 - Auto Oscam/CCcam 2.1.3 Install

I already purchased a Cheap VPS since my internet is very patchy and don't want the rest to suffer because my internet is Utilized with over 100ms ping ( Virgin ) I have successfully setup OSCAM into my VPS and have it running. I also have my N line with reshare enabled i just need to know how to add it into OSCAM and then add users i just need to create 4 user accounts & thats it. My OSCAM looks like this 8a200f3.jpg

but
then i would be thieving

Ok i have added my Reader into OSCAM but am just getting 0.0.0.0 resolved on it? anyone know how to fix this. i have created a user account but it shows 0 cards on the VU? any ideas

I just wonder if i have vps how i can make the vu+ contact with vps not with the internet of home i mean Want the vu+ used internet of vps because it’s more faster
