Hi, as a recent winner of this box on the forum i thought i would try it out, the sat side seems fine but the kodi side of it i'm having problems with, i have sorted the part green screen, but i can't get HD content to play very well, is there a setting to sort this out? i don't have a problem with my minix neo x8 box.

Kodi/tvmc, Most HD contents working ok for me , what problem exactly you are facing.

Thanks for reply, when i play a film in hd 1080 or 720 it won't play correctly, it seems to lag behind and also the picture breaks up, as i said i followed your advice for the green screen, which is fine, i thought there may have been another setting to adjust, this happens on films and tv progs on kodi.

Any ideas about this problem? seems quite a good box but for the HD playback on kodi, if there isn't a way to fix it i would probably sell it.

Hi, that setting for video acceleration is not in my settings.
-
Goto main mars box android settings page > "Apps" > find and select mx player app and uninstall it, then reboot box.
Next step
Goto kodi/tvmc > settings>video> change settings level to advanced > then "Acceleration " change to "software".
Restart kodi/tvmc and play movies on any quality. -
I have removed the mx player app, the setting for decoding method is not in my list even after changing to advanced, can't change to software as it's not there, on mine anyway.
