Blade 7000s - external hard drive issues

Hi guys,

I am trying to add an external hard drive to my blade 7000s, but when i connect it, the channels start to glitch.... then when i remve it, the channels are fine...
I have formatted the harddrive via the blade 7000s.
I have also tried connecting a pen drive, AND that works fine, not glitching.....I have used this same hard drive on the openbox, and that didnt give any issues....

any help guys????

its using its own power source...but connected via usb cable
