Van hit my wall

    Hi guys,


    Got home yesterday to find my wall damaged, went through the cctv and found a van had hit the wall and could see the company name on the side of the van, unfortunately couldn't read the number plate. Called the company they said unless I give the number plate they won't do anything. I can prove it was their van but not the reg number, anyone any ideas what to do they won't give insurance details.

    I would think your home insurance company will persue it for you and obviously its a case for the police as well --i was parked outside my home and a van hit my car and did a runner after a lot of door knocking i found the house where the van had been working at i phoned the police and they got in touch with the company and driver and he admitted liability

    It's not your house nor your van. You don't pay the insurance. Tell the landlord you will have it fixed and send him the bill..... just done that with a boiler I had waited 3 days for the landlord to sort out.
