My entitlements update in oscam alone with dvbapi

i have this in my oscam.user

i also allow shared emm so blockemm-s = 0 (or deleted as it defaults to 0), but I block off global and unknown

Can't see anything else that would stop it updating, just need to get dvbapi in oscam.user and edit the oscam.dvbapi as above, leave on an encrypted channel (I use pick tv) and should work!

can you please give me a little more info please.at the minut i am using mgcamd to update my card.what exact i need in my server so card can update it self?
1-do i need a file called oscam.dvbapi in my etc folder among other oscam config files?
2-what exact do i need in my oscam.user ac?
3-any thing else need?

How to : Oscam Server or Cardreader with CCcam2.1.3 S*Y UK IPK

This config will update entitlements, you have option of oscam server or cardreader, nothing else needed.

so in this case i think all i need is add this in my existing oscam.config

by activating dvbapi, you have already enabled a client to that - yourself. the purpose of dvbapi is to update entitlements in your own receiver by you switching to the services that contain the EMM updates.

Not sure if svn build #4862 needs boxid= line or not compared to the latest versions, did you add the boxkey to your configs ?

yes masterG i had boxkey in the configs as they are in the original post
with out the box key sports channel doesn't clear in this version

As muso said in post 2 add account in oscam.user for dvapi, without this your card will not update.

for emm blocking i always use this in the reader entry for my card, so it allows unique and shared, but blocks the rest

also the entry in oscam.dvbapi is important to as posted earlier.

I always have au = 1 so it saves me having to specify cards to send the updates to - incase I make a mistake - think from reading the wiki that au = 1 will send emms to all cards.

I did have an issue updating my white card for FTV entitlements this month, and am not using it now - but it was fine the 3 months prior to that, and my MTV card activated straight away! - think problem with sly is they don't send out many emms so it is a pain - probably still easiest to leave in original box for a couple of days i think!

i agree however my peers are always upset when i explain my card is in original box to update entitlements ! :nosebleed_002:
i must buy a decent box is the moral of my story perhaps ? :oh:

Just a quick revisit to this again, my entitlements updated last night finally on my $KY ex contract sub card with Oscam/dvbapi using the methods described here and in the tutorial I posted a while back. I think the issue I was having was the channel I left it on. Previous months I had success on PickTV, but yesterday I read somewhere that $KY1 is the one to leave it on. Think was about midnight that I got the unique EMM, just the one, and it woke my card again, so now I can watch PickTV!
