Hi.
I’m looking for a Cable/Terrestrial receiver with a built in HDD and a high speed LAN. I do not need a SAT capability (but will go for one if receiver is able to serve my needs).
The purpose of such device is to receive one or several (better) Cable/Terrestrial channels simultaneously, record them by the preprogrammed schedule on the HDD (preferably the built-in one), and serve as a video file server, thus having enough bandwidth and CPU power for several simultaneous connections.
I also need it to work reliably out of the box, without the need of extra tweaks or custom firmware.
Currently I’m looking in the direction of XTrend models, but any model, that serves my purposes will do just fine.
So i'm really looking forward any advice regarding the model i should go for.
