Ok FTP into your receiver, navigate to usr/share/enigma2

In here delete the folders of the skins you installed prior to the box crashing... restart the duo2

Simply reflash it and carefully with new skins or unknown ipks

is it possible to flash the box with new image via ftp or telnet

A reflash will not do any harm at all bud, you were using a old version of Vix...

Latest version is here: OpenViX There is also tutorials & guides here for reflashing....

Remember to backup any cam configs etc before reflashing.
