Picture freezing vix 2.3

There are 4 replies in this Thread which was already clicked 1,488 times. The last Post () by s7uat.

    I am getting a picture freeze every few minutes or so then its ok again. I am using the latest vix image with the latest bootloader.
    At first i thought it was the cam package i was using but have swapped between different ones and still no joy.


    I have exactly the same setup on an et9000 and its running perfectly?



    Any help would be appreciated.

    Need more info, freezing can be caused by any number of things, what EMU you are using, how your configs are setup, how you look after your server, whether its your card or another HOP away.


    Is freezing happening on freeview or premium channels ?


    Also, did you do an online update of the ViX image, there was a fix for the softcam.

    I'm using CCCam_213.
    Its on Hop 1.
    Only happening on premium channels.
    Yes i did an update straight after install.


    I had it all setup on the Blackhole image with no problems at all.


    My friend has the same setup but there are a few differences and we can't work out what they are:
    1) On the bottom graphic there is a world symbol next to the rec symbol. His doesn't flash, mine does.
    2) His SNR is 90% and AGC is 0%. Mine SNR is 40% and AGC is 85%.


    These might be nothing but i don't know.
