  • @ian1095 You did not understand.

SatKings say that he use dash format in the BBCPlayer host and he use the gstplayer.
This is a reason why he do not have video.

To have video in host BBCPlayer using dash format you need to use ffmpeg libs with my patch adding dash demuxer and exteplater3 movie player.

If you want to build ffmpeg by yourself you need to use following patches:

    https://github.com/samsamsam-i…/tmp/ffmpeg/patches/3.2.2

  • Hi SSS

Good to see you once more.

Doh ! I thought he had found a GSTPlayer Binary patched for Dash and I got excited lol

Yes I already have all of your patches installed for quite sometime now, ever since you released the new libs and v33 Exteplayer3 with the fix for a better fallback for rtmp, which fixes the issues I told you about regarding CBSPlayer on my system. (actually I might even be using your test version with the FLV fixes)

You do however have an issue in your IPTVPlayer at the moment from BBCIplayer Dash, whereby it reports onscreen that the address for the Dash stream is incorrect.

    Ian.

  • I just enabled that so I could get the Onscreen message for you.

When using Exteplayer3 without buffer it just states Opening Please Wait, which never actually opens because the address is wrong.

I will try to run my iplayer in debug to try to get you the correct address.

  • I'm not sure that it is, its just the first place I began to look.

This is the best I could obtain for you, because until mx3L fixes the passing of the Dash Res through Serviceapp I can only stream at lower qualities using Kodi.

    Code
    http://vod-dash-uk-live.akamaized.net/usp/auth/vod/piff_abr_full_hd/a2655d-b08nbg3r/vf_b08nbg3r_034ff2f0-4eac-4139-b1ba-a5945de6cd0e.ism.hlsv2.ism/iptv_hd_abr_v1_dash_master.mpd?__gda__=1492896157_629f34b0d2f0ace0d87b533a69a2a650
  • Such link will not help with anything, because as I say before IPTVPlayer does not contain hard coded links to any streams/vods.

So, I this link is not valid this mean that API has changed and in deed there is need to make change in IPTVPlayer but to do this there is need to have access to this service.

  • Yes I believe there have been several changes recently and that there are still more to come, so I wouldn't rush to try to find a good UK proxy just yet, as I think during the coming weeks they are going to move to https from http so anything you fixed now would most likely need fixing again quite soon.

Anyway, at least your now aware of the problem.

    Ian.

That's very strange then because I'm actually in the UK, but I am also using Smartdnsproxy. I shall try turning it off

  • I also check BBC One London.

    IPTVPlayer use link:

    Code
    http://a.files.bbci.co.uk/media/live/manifesto/audio_video/simulcast/dash/uk/dash_abr_tv/ak/bbc_one_london.mpd

taken from the BBC API and stream work without any problems.

Are you sure you have set a valid date on your STB? Because for dash live streams will not work if date in the system is wrong.

  • Ok thats cured it.

Sorry for saying there was an issue when in fact its SmartdnsProxy at fault.

So anyone who's actually in the UK needs to turn it off when using BBCiplayer in IPTVPlayer

  • Agreed

And I will do exactly that if its not fixed in the next day or two.

There's a link knocking about somewhere that will give you 6 months free trial to them, I will try to find it again for your unless Gorski has already given it you ?

  • Hello

Not sure if i am posting in the correct section but is it possible to add/create a plugin that points to movierulz.cm website to the iptvplayer as it has all the latest/cinema bollywood movies and is organised by year.

    Thanks
