[fade]Automated CCcam 2.3.0 Install Package For Debian 6[/fade]

This will install CCcam 2.3.0 on any machine running Debian 6, The script is based on CC_Shares Debian5 Install package for earlier CCcam versions, the reqired libs to run later versions of CCcam are dowloaded & installed automatically.

First download the Debian 32 net install package ( This version is not available in 64)

You now have the choice of burning it to a cd or using

Universal USB Installer

Use Whichever you prefer

Continue to install Debian to your machine it is up to yourself if you want a graphical interface but the only option that is required is Webserver, the script will install everything else you need when you run it later.

Debian now Installed, Let's install CCcam

1. Log into your server as root user by opening the terminal & typing
su

Then enter the root password you chose during Debian install

Now enter the following commands one at a time pressing enter after each

wget http://tinyurl.com/cds85qc

chmod 755 cds85qc

./cds85qc

The script will now do its work, it then requires user input for 4 questions

Q. IP Address of youserver?
Choose a static ip for your server e.g 192.168.1.99

Q. Subnet Mask?
e.g 255.255.255.0

Q. Gateway?
Here enter your routers ip address

Q. Dns servers ip?
Again here enter your routers ip address

The install will now complete, all you need to do is ftp your CCcam.cfg file to /var/ect/ then reboot

Hi,

I installed the script for cccam 2.30 and all went fine.

It only says cccam 2.14.

Am I doing something wrong?

I have only made install scripts for 2.2.1 & 2.3.0 so pesume this is not a fresh install you have done. If you are using a programme such as cccam info or cs studio try viewing the info page via your web browser instead.

Via the webpage it also says cccam 2.14.

What ip will this script end up with, will the server have dhcp ip adresse? Can I afterwards change it to static or does`nt it matter?

You choose a static ip during install Taita.

Ok thanks for answering so fast. I`m new to this stuff and of course I should have read the first post :confuse:
But what about HOW TO - CCcam+Oscam Automated Installation for Ubuntu. You see I have tried to install this and it seems ok so fare.Haven`t tried it for real yet but the installation seemed to go smooth in the end (after som tries). But I can se that I have a DHCP connection, is that normal for this installation? Should I try to make it static, isn`t that best regarding CC.. Cause I think I have to portforward port 12000 to my server from the router? Sorry for my english, its not my native language..

Yes make the ip static, i would also recommend changing the server listen port from the default 12000.

It would need to connect to the internet to install the script in the fist place so im guessing the ip you chose as static is conflicting with another device on your network.

i need your help here i am very newbie on linux world i did install Debian 6 with graphical interface and Automated CCcam 2.3.0 Install Package i think everything go well but i am not able to transfer my CCcam.cfg to var/etc folder access to that folder is denied i did try few way but all are same thing :pudency: what i did was wrong??? help please thanks

Try logging into the root account.
p.s the graphical interface is not required, you may find your server runs much faster without this.

At the login screen enter the username as root with the root password you chose during debian install.

Try accessing it from another machine on your local network, here is a the windows tool you will need & a guide.

I installed this and everything went ok, I can see my local cards using 3 smargo card readers, my big problem is that I cannot see any cards from the Clines in my cfg, I can see the other server connections in webinfo but they all show as having no cards, my cfg seems ok and everything else looks like its working but my only shares are my local cards.

I have my cfg file in var/etc and running Ubuntu 12.04 32bit

Most likely is that you have no reshare on these lines hence why you see 0 shares. Try disabling the minimum downhops line in your cfg for a sec & all should look like you are used to.

Thanks for your reply, I don't have minimium downhops enabled in the cfg.

Here is something that is even more strange, If I install the exact same autoinstall on a Debian 6 machine and use the same cfg file it sees the shares ok.... but the smargo does not read my local cards, obviously I disconnect the Ubuntu first and give the Debian server a different IP and port. I have tried to use different cfg files including the sample you have on this thread but can't seem to figure this out...

Summary: Both servers the exact same spec and both clean installs,The Ubuntu reads the smargos but not the shares, with the exact same cfg file the Debian reads the shares but not the smargos

Any help appreciated.
