Oscam reading from peers before local

  • Hi,
I updated mu Vu Solo2 to the latest version of Openvix the other day, openvix-3.2.023,

Im running Oscam with cccam on it , the problem is as title suggests, its reading from peers before local card, it used to do it on occasion before but since I updated its been very bad. at the moment I disabled my peers servers so it has to read from my local but its still freezing the odd time.

To start , I deleted all .bak files in var/tuxbox/config because i thought they might have been causing the problem.

I put these lines into oscam.server file as i never had them.. to be honest my ability is poor at this stuff but i try hard.
I made up my file from info from lots of user forum posts so my file might be pure rubbish but have worked for me all along..
I will post up my file hoping someone might be able to help me

    thanks

  • Hello again, I'm definitely in over my head now..
Oscam has completely stopped reading my local card now, I have restarted the box and the cam to no avail, factory reset my VU and restored from what was def a working backup...I have deleted all .bak files again to no avail.

I tried to read the oscam log via the blue button and it says card is initialized but its not clearing any channels , I will attach screenshot if that helps.
I.m using this version of VIX

Anyone any ideas for me please?

    System OE: OE-Alliance 3.2
    Distro: openvix
    Firmware version: 3.2.023
    Driver date: 20151117
    Kernel version: 3.13.5
    Gui version: 2015-11-22

this is the screen shot of log..

  • You could go down the route of a oscam.services file.
Select the channels that your card open and assign the services file to your local card (your card will only open the selected channels).
Use a specific group for your local only, then assign all your shares into a different group with the services file blocked for those shares (to block these services just put a "!" in front of the services file).
Then assign your user file with both groups (your card and your peers shares)
Sounds complicated but guaranteed to read from your local then (depending on what your card clears)
Full explanation can be found here:

Another thread here (to get you started although the file will probably have to be updated)

  • Thanks for the info..I'll will have a go at it tonight.. I did disable my shares last night and my card still won't clear any chanell..I'm thinking it should when stb has nothing else to read from.. thanks for the links..

  • ok guys, I haven't time to go at it now but I changed it to use upper card reader last night~(put card in upper as well) and it still wasn't working....got up this morning ..kids had tv and it was reading local..
Thanks everyone for the links, I will amend my files as best I can and then I'll post logs to see where I'm making a mess of it..
