problems loading M3u, Infomir Mag 254

Hi everyone, I have a problem loading the M3u file on my Infomir Mag 254. I followed the steps by copy and pasting the file playlist into the notepad and saving it to the computer and saving it in my usb. The problem is when I put the usb in the stb and I go to home media. Ill show my usb with the files I saved. However once I click on it I get a weird message. Could someone help me out? I would appreciate it. and yes the file does comeout as a Txt file on the stb.

I don't have one of these but the playlist should be in ".m3u" format and not ".txt" (as far as I know)

Click on NEW > add the list of stream(s)
click on CODIFICATION > CODE IN UTF-8
SAVE AS : this is where you save with "title .m3u" without using " "
below the save as: TYPE :NORMAL TEXT FILE (".txt)
save it to your desktop.
Done..
