hi together, i am setting up a cronjob to restart my oscam after a crash. this happens then and when, so try to get my head around to set this cron up.:spiderman:
after some reading (actually loads of reading) i am still not there i can see.
now this wonderful pli image has the cron in "services to run" and can be startet ther - easy ok.
but now how to go on.
to find out where the cron business is located, i go with DCC and its telnet give the comand
crontab -e and it says

its in var/ spool/cron/crontabs 195
ok i have a look there and now it starts to get dificult.
what is the next step?joint10
where to put in the script telling cron what to do?
i understand it has to be set up every x minutes, so cron will ask oscam are you running, and if not it sends to restart oscam.
my oscam is located in var/bin named oscam_1.00.
can u help me a bit, please.
it might help more people to set this up, its getting deeper into linux now
