You cant share when its inside the conax cam, so you need to pop it in the cam to get the update then back into the slot on your receiver.

To get softcam working You have to delete the current files on the softcam
here is how to do it
=>CCcam Client Setup =>>Manage Config Files =>>>Softcam.key =>>>>Delete All (Yellow Button) =>>>>>Yes
Then load in a new softcam.

Install Mgcamd, press blue button then press left or right in the softcam manager to change the softcam.

If you want oscam+Mgcamd to start at the same time you will need to edit the Mgcamd script in /usr/camscript/.

If you want to use oscam as cardreader and CCcam as server you need to be using CCcam2.1.3 and below, CCcam2.1.4 will show you card as HOP10.

To see the card as local in cccam you will need to downgrade to version 2.1.3 or lower, the 256 trick only works on these versions.

Installation is the same as any other operating system, burn the iso file to disc using img burn or simillar, set the pc to boot from the disc reboot & you will be guided through installation process. I have not tried this so cannot give a detailed step by step sorry.

strange, since the jffs2 driver has not boot still a problem with the error handling of Flash, which can not mount root, and of course the whole thing.

First problem is the cams have to be started separate to work, why not edit the CCcam script in /usr/script or /usr/camscript/ so that you can start/stop both oscam+CCcam 2.1.3 in softcam manger at the same time. How to - Oscam + CCcam start/stop cam script . Enigma 2

Second problem is you have card reader details in both oscam and CCcam, you lose pick tv because CCcam starts to read the card.
Delete or # out boxkey, smartcard clock frequency, anything related to card reader in CCcam.
This way oscam will always be the card reader and CCcam will control your server.

They totally changed my CCcam.cfg and put in 3 c lines and one f line that says f:END CONFIG to connect me to their server with hundreds of cards on which didn't even clear my channels, lucky I always backup my configs.

I do connect to servers over the internet but with people I know locally.

If you have Debug enabled in your CCcam.cfg look in /var/log/messages/ to see the ip address of who was trying to connect to your server, then pass on the info to us so we can ban the feckers.

Seriously though, If you dont share with anyone you have nothing to worry about, if you do share remember all passwords & ports are default so you should change box & cfg passwords to your own. This is open pli as it comes with oscam,cccam 2,13 tps skin, UK boquets & epg importer added & mapped. I made & uploaded it to help others not for my own benefit.

How you manage your server will determine the amount of peers it will handle more than anything. Less hops in use along with less being reshared out = less load on the server.
There is no exact answer to your question it all depends on how you run your own server.
