When you type the DM800 ip address into your browser it will bring you to the webinterface. The above image will only appear by putting the receiver in flash mode, unplug then hold button on the front panel and power on. Look at the led on the front panel it will show you the ip address to enter into browser/safari

Tell us is this a new installation or an old setup that has just stopped working ? Is the tuner setup on stored position or usals ? Can you move the dish with satfinder ? Give us more info on what you have tried to resolve this yourself.

This command wont ftp, but it will give access to oscam.server so you can edit ubuntu acordingly.

sudo pico /usr/local/etc/oscam.server

Pull the plug on the dm800, hold the power button on the front panel and plug in the power. Keep holding the button until you see DHCP stop on the led, here you will see the ip address of the dm800, sim version and bootloader. Put this into your browser and you will get the menu to flash a new image.

Can only think its an ip address conflict, have you tried giving your DM500 a static ip address within your router ?

Open ssh is installed with the script you should be able to connect the way it is now.

Use each command individually, they give access to log files, oscam files, restart oscam, reboot your server etc.

Yes you can, or install openssh on your ubuntu and connect via any other machine on your network with putty.

No m8, only via your browser or by using dreamup and null modem cable.

Use these commands in putty.

Start: sudo oscam -b




Log file: tail -f /var/log/oscam.log

You will need to install cs studio and check local card to see if you have entitlements. If there are no entitlements then try Mgcamd+CCcam to get the update.

Use the top slot with chip side facing down. You need to be using an emulator like CCcam or oscam to view the card, common cam wont work. If you dont have these installed look HERE on how to. CCcam 2.2.1 will work perfect for this card if its been activated.

Also remove this line from your cccam.cfg

Can you post or pm all config files including cccam.cfg ( hiding the sensitive bits ). hopefully then we can spot where you are going wrong.
