If it says box is in serial http mode, then tick use network and reflash only takes 2 mins.

I prefer the pheonix by prz team tbh mate.But havent given up on this yet.
Need the mrs to go to bed earlier so i can get a chance to have a proper play with it lol. -

Any image in that section is fine mate, addons work fine on this one, xml epg is inluded with it.

Vix image will not work on the 800 mate, you should be able flash normally now btw.

you need to install the rytec xml importer if its not there.
From memory i think its under manage extensions. -

How to install and configure xmltv-import on Enigma2 Pli-images :
When you have installed OpenPli on your box, you can go to Applications, press the green button. Then you'll see a menu, go to extensions and look for xmltv-importer.
Press enter or OK button to start the installation. Now you have the latest version installed, restart Enigma and go to applications and you will notice the label "EPGImport".
Now go into this program, there are some options but first we press blue button to go to the sources. Here you can select with the OK button which EPG data you like to download.
Press green button to save this selection. Now we are back into the first menu where we can change the time when the plugin should start. Do not set this time before 04:00am because I create the EPG data just before 04:00am.
If your box is in deep-standby you could wake it up to start the automatic download, and you can set the amount of days for full descriptions.
Could be helpful if you have selected a lot of epg sources and your box has not much memory you could set this days on 5, so the epg data is loaded for 5 full days + 2 days.
Do not forget to save this config by pressing green button, then you will be prompted to the applications menu.
If you can't wait untill the automatic import, which I can imagine ;), you can go into the EPGImport panel and press the yellow button for a manual download, you will be asked if you agree by pressing OK.
Now you will see in the main window the amount of events it is processing.
You can press exit to go back to the application panel, it's not needed to wait untill the import is finished. -
We did discuss this before but decided against it at the time, As you say the forum is growin quickly now so i think it is time we intodued this. We have banned half a dozen cardfakers in the last week so its a good call. If you use CVS-Images like Merlin, Ozzoon, Boxman, or orginal-DMM,
you have not crypt-informations in infobar, you have not a extra infobar
and you have not Fraquensy, Symbolrate, Orbital position in Infobar......Now.... i have maked for me a option.
Becouse i dont use the help button, i ovewrite the help functions
with one plugin and i have a second (extra) infobar if i press the help button.!!! This plugin overwrite you help-wizard !!!
but you have Sherlock - the second Infobar for CVS
So you have all the information like other board images have, in you CVS image.Help-> show second infobar.
