Why dont you just look at the memberlist.

Its a personal choice what image is right for you.The best advice i can give you is to try as many as possible and make your own mind up.
I do not find any reason for using the swapfile as in the few monts ive had a dm800 have tried many images & plugins and the box performed just as well with or without it. You can use your usb stick to store data without creating a swapfile.
The overheating issues were a problem with early clone versions, if you are worried about this have a look at usb cooling fans.
Please keep us updated on your thoughts on the different images you try, as you said it helps others understand better.

This will not connect, change 192.168.1.X to your servers ip address.

Satsearching's new Keybinding Menu in Settings!! Visible by default now, this has the facility to remap the Volume Keys!!
important: If you decide to remap these keys, you MUST first disable the existing Subservices Up and Subservices Down Keys, by assigning both of these to Key = None

... Then set up your Volume -/+ keys as you want them, and finally the Subservices keys. You'll be using the L/R keys either side of the [OK] button, and the L/R keys either side of the [0] button, as per your own preferences. Mega-thanks to Satsearching for his brilliant work on this!

Another tidy-up in the locals, where we've changed menue to menu and canal to channel and stuff like that.

Big thanks to LraiZer for testing and reporting back on all our foul-ups, which have all been rectified for this new release.

Anyone wishing to edit the SquashFS root partition with LraiZer's excellent Squazma Tools be warned: Your edited root must NOT exceed 2.752,512 bytes (0x2A0000h) in size!!

New plugin WebVideoPlayer - a single plugin for watching videos from different websites such as - youtube, nrk nett-tv, video.nrkbeta, dailymotion, metacafe, myvideo.de etc. etc.

Please list your favourite video urls in the file vidlist.txt in the plugin folder. I have put in some example urls for testing.

Different video sources have different requirements. For example - nrk nett-tv needs a working plugin vlcplayer setup. The others can play directly without pc. Most videos will play directly, but some such as from megavideo and svt play are downloaded first and viewed with mediaplayer (Video button).

Create your new file and ftp into box replacing the current one and reboot.May be worth updating your channel lists at the same time, my personal fave at the moment is catseyes.
