There is a problem with the rytec epg at the moment, its showing yesterdays listings and giving the green screen. If you are using rytec epg try a differant source, it may fix this problem for you..

I found this on another board, some of you may have seen it already.

Warning: Commercial use of Tring Card.

To combat this situation - so Tring do not lose all ther games - a last minute encryption of 3pm's has been put in place. This makes it inconvenient for pubs who are waiting to show the game to paying customers. Unfortuneately, to combat the illegal public viewings, this also affects the domestic users who are not using the card as a business tool.

For a last minute update:

Your card needs to be in a conax cam while on Tring Sports News - at the beginning of the game to receive the update, so you may miss a few minutes of the game. That is better than having ALL the Tring EPL games cancelled because a few pubs are using a domestic card in the UK.

Tring are trying to prevent your cards being rendered useless by the FA for all other EPL games, due to misuse by UK businesses.

What's new for DM8000/800

Devices Managment and Mount Startup

Nabilosat v0.9 is now including by default the new DMM plugins Software Manager, Network Wizard and Mount Manager. The Samba Server is enabled by default. This solution will allow to Network Browser to locate your DM8000 on your Local Area Network

As you know in DM8000 we have these Extra Ports:
1 SD card 1 Compact Flash 3 Usb.
These devices can be "hotplugged" or used in stable mode.
In case of hotplug insertion the devices are automounted in DM8000 and you will find them in the folder /autofs.
But if you want to use these devices in stable way and you leave them connected and inserted, the Black Hole image will detect them at startup and will mount in this way:
Sd card -> /media/card
CF -> /media/cf
First Usb -> /media/usb
Second Usb -> /media/usb2
Third Usb -> /media/usb3

Have had a search on this and the following solution appears to work.

1. connect via serial using NULL Modem cable and Ethernet to router and pc.. ( if you don't have a Null modem cable you can purchase here null modem cable found EDITED.. ANYWHERE

2. load patched version of dreamup, select your com port and then click connect and power on dm800

3. when initialised it will display http serial mode on lcd and show dhcp ip once ip is displayed dreamup as served its purpose and now its in flashmode

4. log into webshell on pc using the 192.168.x.xxx address on LCD disply and flash as normal.

You could also try flashing a lower version of bootloader.

Have only had my own a short time and managed to break it twice by flashing an the wrong image. If you can connect to the box with dreamup you should be able to flash a fresh image without loading a bootloader first.

There are instructions for this in the readme file mate, sounds like you can connect to your box so the other option is to flash a compatible using only null modem cable.It takes about an hour but will work.

In CCcam info PHP this is what the different colours mean
1: Client/server:
White means - they are working and OK
Red means - offline
Purple means -
a) user has different DNS/IP as server and as client
b) he try to use your C: line second time
c) his or your server is hacked and someone try use yours or his lines to own benefit/stealing.

2: Caid/idents colours mean
Green ident - means that it is rigth now active
Yellow ident - means that it is inactive next or used
Red ident - means that it is old or fake

Uptime : 00d 12:04:47 - how long is your CCcam working without restart
Connected clients : 161 - how many clients is connected
Total handled client ecm's : 108025 - how many ECM requests is been recived from your clients
Total handled client emm's : 0 - how many EMM you are recived from your clients (for card update - not all cards are supported)
Total handled LOCAL ecm's : 14457 / 15305 (94%) - how many loacl card ECM is sended to your clients
Peak load (max queued requests per workerthread) : 8 8 9 9 8 7 8 7 7 3

Meaning of colours in ECM:

Red 0% no valid ECM
Green 75% and more valid ECM
Yellow less of 70% valid ECM
Orange less of 40% valid ECM etc...

I can see both sides of the argument here and we all have different ideas about how is the best way to manage our servers.
We do our thing as a hobby and anybody who does it for financial gain is not welcome here. For me its about watching what i want when i want and introducing others to our hobby making friends along the way. Lets just enjoy this while it lasts, CS will not be around forever.

Although what has happened is not his fault, these cards were sold on the 3pm footy, so for those who have paid "3000 of you quoted" the least you should expect is a partial refund. As for the gift most of you know my thoughts on this. The best solution all round may still happen, sport channels restored and this is just a blip. Intresting times ahead,I hope it works out for the guys who paid.

Your not alone here mate, it seems all cardholders in the uk have the same problem, have just been looking at the authourised distributers forum and the guy who runs it is taking pelters from all directions, im sure the fix will come sooner rather than later but waiting is a pain. Especially when you have parted with your hard earned cash to be let down.

Tring sport channels are down to UK cardholders because Sly have threatened legal action for showing 3pm kos recievable in uk. Bit rich when their own Ita/Ger channels do exactly this.Long live cs. As soon as we hear how UK cardholders can get what they paid for back we will post it here.

When running a pc server you need an extra hop to be able to watch yourself, so having shares which cannot be reshared further will give it alot of unecessary work to do and have a big impact on performance.

If you are going to use a cline filter.......you will have a cfg file a mile long and will also block perfectly good old cards.
Best way to do it is only take local and hop1, then make sure you use my golden rule MINIMUM DOWNHOPS: 1 in the cfg file.
Server/machine will be fast and will not get all the useless crap with no reshare.

This is aplicable more to a proper linux server, if you are using your receiver, forget the above

0961 is switched off altogether wont even open freesat on a slybox, I still have some if anyone needs an ice scraper lol.

Have left my box on a channel which my local opens for a day and the figure was around 15000, any more than that start asking questions and remove reshare if necessary. But remember there will be a big difference on the number quoted here depending on provider.Nuno those ecm numbers quoted are crazy compaered to norm.

Very important beginners read and understand this. This means all passwords in your cfg and the pass for your box, how to is HERE also make sure the only port open in your router is the one used for sharing.
