    if they let customers to use third party boxes, that simply mean, its open to share codes with other people.


    I am pretty sure that VM channels are about to disappear very soon and sky will block EU channels in near future.


    I just updated my box to solo 4k and its going to a big lose for me .....

    I heard similar rumors when sly blocked HD channels .... I think, it wont be easy for hacker to win this bloody battle anymore ....

    Thanks for your reply. Is that mean, these sat boxes has little or no future but Android boxes like Nvidia Shield TV is the way for 4k channels in future....

    Hi Master G,


    I appreciate your post. I have recently updated my box to Solo 4k from my VU Duo 2. I have very little knowledge and very basic skills to flash my box. I have been struggling throughout to get things work in my favour. I appreciate help from you and your mates.


    After experiencing, I have very little feedback to give to you.



    1) - LinuxSat has got Auto Bouquet maker for cable, I tried it and it does NOT work. It took me over few days to find that auto bouquet maker comes with Open ATV image work perfectly. PLEASE update your auto bouquet maker


    2) - There should be an option to install almost all useable apps that should go with choice of box we use. like Solo 4k apps, oscam, iptv, skin etc... we can we select and deselect easily.


    3) - There are few skins available, but I strongly suggest, there should be preview option or picture to see how they look like before we can install them.


    4) - Sky IQ skin on Open ATV is quite buggy, it froze my box and I had to reinstall everything back.


    5) - I strongly think, there is should be good iptv premium channel list embedded with OpenATV .....

    I also think either Open ATV or LinuxSat has some sort of bug...... When I flashed my solo 4k with VTI image, I could download Linuxsat but I could NOT make these plugin works. I ended up flashing my box again but I had similar issues. I delete my old Linuxsat and downloaded fresh files... this time, it worked fine

    Do you mean the VTi team doesn`t support the panel, or the linuxsat panel doesn`t work on VTi image ?


    I was told by one of guy that VIT image does NOT support linuxsat and blue sky skin... That forced me to go back to OpenAtv and I just managed to get Linuxsat panel on my screen ... what a relief


    what are you showing us with those screenshots ?

    wow... I just managed to install new OpenATV image and I deleted old linuxsat file, installed new updated files and now I can see the panel on my system...


    wow ... what a relief ....


    Now I need to know what picons, oscam and autobouquet etc ...

    I kept trying everything that I knew to get my vm channel but I got frustrated and I decided to try a different image.


    Now I have installed VTI...


    its all a new world for me,


    I dont know how to install linuxsat, ( I mean tried but I cant seems to find it in a panel)


    Oscam doesnt seems to work


    I tried to scan cable channels. it fails...

    Os*am seems to be more stable them C**cam but when I switched my VU box today, I found out that all OS*am file were wipped out from my box....


    I dont know what could be a reason for this?


    Can someone also suggest me some good eye catching, high graphical/colourful skin for black hole solo 4k please?
