Semi sorted, tuner A set to usals tuner b set to diseqc so I can swap between 28 19 13 without dish moving, if I want to use a sat say 23e then I change tuner b to second cable of motor

ive a 80cm motorised dish with 28e as the main lnb then 19e and 13e, vu duo running vix 163.
it all works fine through a diseqc switch apart from one thing when i move the dish say to 23e not on the switch it works perfect but then when i select a channel on 28e again the dish will not move back unless i change 28e to another sat in tuner config then the motor kicks back in. i can also watch and record a diff channel no probs.
i,m thinking must be somthing to do with the motor setting as i have the same set up on a fixed dish and its working perfecti have my cable for tuner A running straight to the motor and tuner B to the switch then from the switch to 28 19 13
my tuner config for tuner A is advanced and all the sats set up as norm
my tuner config for B is
Simple
mode diseqc a/b/c/d
port A 28e
port b 19e
port c 13e
port d nothing connected
voltage 22khz yes
send diseqc on sat change yes -
now thats a film which will be worth waiting for

I've had mine a few weeks now.
Took me maybe just over a week of fiddling to get it running absolutely sweet, part of this was down to me having to learn how TVHeadend works and even what some of the settings do within OpenELEC, and now it just works, have no trouble out of it what so ever
It probably has got a bit of a way to go until it's as user friendly as the likes of a Vu but for me I have absolutely no regrets in switching over to it, I also switched over from a Vu Duo
Upload a back up for all of us that are struggling with it Jim :thumb:

I have both and you cannot tell the difference when using them both, get yourself the solo 2 and save the brass, also the duo2 is massive compared to the solo2 , I personnaly don't like the duo because of its size

I got rid of mine ages ago its a over sized joke one massive empty box
Obviously you didn't utilize the lcd screen for pictures of scenery and as for the empty space you could have fitted 2 hdds in, a toaster and a loaf, plus a few ornaments and still have room to store a few tinnies you have to think about what Vu was thinking the user would want from the box, I think this is what they thought we wanted
Personally I love looking at the massive led screen with my sunglasses on :-) -
i did try to use the wirelss on the duo2 the other day and i couldnt get it to connect either, so thats two things now that i hate about that lump

Are all your sats still set up in tuner config? could be worth a look

I've got both and when there running you carnt tell any difference, I think there's more memory in the duo2 and you can put a 3.5 hdd in there, also it's the size of a small village compared to the solo 2, there's a nice lcd screen on the duo you can put pics etc on if your into that sort of thing, I personnaly wished I'd bought another solo2 instead mainly because of the size

I had that problem, I had two instances of oscam running and was double login in on peers servers which meant me getting dropped and re logging in, you may have same prob be worth looking into
