    Yes you can use it:

1: Give it a static IP address, and make sure it is out of the DHCP range of the "master router"

2: Switch off the DHCP function in the "repeater"

3: You can give it the same SSID as the master one, as long as the encryption type is kept same.

Worse part will be the "hard wiring" to the master Router, if you do not have the cable in place. Alternative is to use Ethernet Over Lan.

I dont know what you expect but this is a standard enigma2 based receiver, therefore it's pretty much identical to all other enigma2 based receivers for setup and plugin installation, etc etc etc.

plus there is a full set of flashing tutorials on

    Code
    www.openvix.co.uk

including several for the miracleboxes and a full, very detailed ViX manual.

The forum on Vix official forum says that Miraclebox is not supported by the Vix team.
    Is it true ?

    Thanks Admin,

I mean guide for installing Emulators, and all.

Cazuela, do you know any tool to monitor mgcamd in real time? I have used "Openbox explorer"in past with mgcamd.

    Thanks

    Hello,

I have chosen Miraclebox Premium MINI Twin Tuner. The choice was based on value for money, and 2 years of warranty.

World of Satellite will be shipping it on soon.

1: Is it possible to install MGCAMD into the factory image? If not options please

2: When I used to use Amiko Alien, I also used "openbox explorer" to give me LIVE LOGS of the ECM. This way I could monitor my MGcamd.

Any such utility for Miraclebox image?

    Thanks

    Cazuela,

What I meant is that HD channels have been scrambled for good few months now on CS server.
Many forums say that the current CS servers cannot crack the new encryption method.

That is what I meant by future proofing.

As we all know that HD channels cannot be encrypted anymore with em%%%tors.
If some one invests in a Vu or any dearly priced PVR, will it be future proof?

    Thanks

    Hello,

I am not too fussed about 7 day EPG or PVRs capability of communicating with the aliens.

    I want the following:

1: Dual Tuner as long it is a stable firmware
    2: Capability to record
    3: Full HD
    4: Supports MG****

In past I used Amiko ALien, and it was brilliant in Spark mode, until it broke down. The beauty of Spark was that it still supported emulators in the official mode, and did not needed to be flashed with open source f/w. But Spark is a closed ware, and I found it to be very stable.
the E2 on Amiko was a nightmare, but Spark on Amiko was a treat. But offcourse Amiko is a different h/w altogether.

My mind is thinking about A new Spark based PVR VS Technomate Nano Super VS Vu Solo2+.

Please share if the Enigma 2 on TM and Vu are stable? How often they crash under normal usage, i.e. 8 hours of TV watching with 2 hours of "back ground recording".

I prefer to be non adventurous as I don't have time to experiment with images.

    Please suggest lads.

    Nano mate!

Point taken. Which particular boxes will you recommend? As long it is HD, and can record also.
I found Spark easier over Enigma2. I used HDMU E2, but may be my setttings were wrong?

No it does not. Just says BOOT. Reflashed with rescue image, and works fine again.
It possibly could not be a clone with a timebomb error hopefully. The packaging, finish is tip top.

It is doing my head in...
