    I have a fixed dish @28.2e in tuner B and the motorised dish in tuner C. Tuner A is a dummy Terrestrial tuner, so not Valid. I have Tunner B set to single and Tuner C set to positioner. After setting my satellite coordinates correctly it now recognises that the motorised dish is facing 28.2e but cant get it to move. Not even on the buttons on the actual motor itself

    I've set my Sat positions (lat & Long) and get no signal. I went to spark and lined up the dish to 28.2e, when i go to E2 it says no signal, unless I set the tuner configuration to single satellite 28.2e. Then it recognises the dish is facing that direction

    I've got an amiko alien with openAtv 4.1 and a 110cm motorised dish. When I'm in spark to motor works fine but in E2 I cant get it to work. It won't move at all, talkless of tune. There's not even an option for diseq 1.2 it only has usals.

    Any ideas on how I can get this working?

    Thanks so much to everybody who posted and helped me with this

    I have finally done it, the reflash and Ten belows advice done it

    Right, I have decided to start a fresh. I've reflashed the image.

    Can anybody point me in the right direction on what to do now?

    Right, I have decided to start a fresh. I've reflashed the image.

    Can anybody point me in the right direction on what to do next

    thanks so much for all suggestions, however i am getting nowhere.

    i really dont know what the problem is

    feeling rather stressed at the moment

    Thanks, i have moved it into usr/keys. unfortunately its still not working.

    in my cccam.cfg file i literally have this alone: C: sever.com port username password (with my details)

    is this right?
    should there be anythng else, any other files or any other text in this file.

    although i have CCcam2.3.0 installed, I have no files except the CCCam.cfg i created

    I'm only using cccam as a client not a server. After downloading CCcam 2.3.0. when i connect via filezilla there are no CCcam files there at all.

    what I've done now is I've created a CFG file in var/etc called CCcam.cfg and pasted this in:

    C: sever.com port username password

    no commas just like that (following some advice I was given by somebody.

    this hasn't worked

    in var/etc I have created a file called CCcam.cfg and pasted this into it

    [reader]
    label = CCcam
    description = CCcam Example
    reconnecttimeout = 5
    protocol = cccam
    device = ******.dyndns.biz,1***0
    user = ********
    password =*******
    group = 1
    blockemm-u = 1
    blockemm-s = 1
    blockemm-g = 1
    blockemm-unknown = 1
    caid =
    cccversion = 2.1.4

    i have filled in device ( with a comma and then the port)
    username
    password.

    Thats all I have done. is this correct.

    very sorry to be a pain, I'm a complete newbie

    I'm doing my mates vu+ duo for him, I've flashed the latest OpenAtv 4.2 image and i've also installed Tspanel for the softcams. When i connect to the box using filezilla, Under usr/keys there is nothing. Do I simply need to create a Ccam.cfg file alone (if so how do i do this?) or is there more to it?

    I have a 1m motorised dish an I'm in London, I can pick up channels from 36e in a scan but they all seem to be european channels. I want to know are african channels from that satellite reachable in the uk.

    I have downloaded a multichoice africa channel list using settings maker. When I'm on the channel it shows great signal quality, but says scrambled or not running, both on FTA and channels

    Does anybody else know any more about this?
