I have just brought my vu+duo2 out of retirement and was trying to find the best image for IPTV, using LG TV at the minute but it has memory problems

The last image insatlled was blackhole about 4 years ago

My box has been working fine but now its started to show Demuxer 0 trying to descramble PID 0 CAID 0963 PROVID 000000 ECMPID 0513 ANY CHID PMTPID 0105 VPID 0208

some channels are working but others not

I've tried different oscam versions but still the same

I'm not sure what to do next

I'm trying to update my oscam to the latest but only want to replace the bin file

I've go to the oscam section to download but can only find the tar gz file,

I just cant remember how I done it the last time

When I put the tar gz file into usr/bin and rename to the old oscam nothing happens

Vuduo2 with blackhole image

attributes set to 755

The only thing I can see is that the old file is 1244 Kib and the new is 630 Kib

I've tried to flash another image onto the meelo through the front usb but it seems to have no effect

I turn the box off put in the usb stick and power up but the box just starts as normal ( i have the correct file on the usb as I'm used to flashing the VU Duo2 )

The reason I want to flash is that I'm having problems getting my V2 positioner to work

Hi

My vu duo2 box was damaged by lightening so have got a meelo se 2 to replace it as I cant afford to buy another duo2

Will the vu solo 2 images work on the meelo+ se 2 ?

It seems to be the surge was through the phone line, only things connected to the phone line are damaged

Ill take a look to see if anything obvious is damaged

My duo 2 has been damaged when the telephone line must have been hit by lightening, it blew my router and homeplugs also

The vu is powering on but just shows the screen on the left and the expectations writing stays on the right display of the box

I've tried to reflash the box but its having none of it

Is there anything that can be done ?

I've installed BH3.01 on my Duo2 and seem to be having problems finding the correct oscam

Some say not compatable and others just dont seem to work correctly

Is this my bin file for usr/local/bin ?

I'm trying to update oscam on my debian server with simplebuild but I'm getting this message

xxxxxx@debian:/opt$ mkdir simplebuild
mkdir: cannot create directory `simplebuild': File exists

The original oscam install was done using simplebuild

I've installed oscam r10041 Emu on my Vu+duo2 but I'm confused at what to do with Emulator and Myconstantcw, on oscam webif it keeps displaying emu not recognised and myconstantcw not found in tuxbox.

Can some point me in the right direction :)

I'm trying to find a softcam for my blackhole image that has a newish version of oscam + cccam 2.3.0 with PCSC support but can only find it with older versions of oscam

does it make much difference to use an older version of oscam ?

I've downloaded oscam 10645 which is working great but I need to have pcsc enabled

At the moment it says cardreader_pcsc: no

Is there anyway to make this say yes or do I have to install a different oscam version ?

I've been getting a few glitches with cccam and thought oscam to oscam might have been a better solution

The debian server is working fine and is is used as my server and reads my card

The problem is when I use oscam on my vu to connect to the debain server the ecm times are higher then when using cccam and for some reason my freind which is connected through newcamd to the debian server times are getting higher also

The vu is used to watch tv in the house only and has no other connections

On the vu Duo is there anyway to turn off dvbapi so its not using it as a client

When I remove it it seems to stop the share from my server

I'm currently using cccam on my vu+duo2 to connect to my debian server which is using oscam

With cccam my ecm time is 96ms but with oscam its 115ms

I've also noticed when I turn on the internal share with oscam my freind which is connected through newcamd ecm times go from 92ms to 147ms

I've installed the latest oscam version 10998

I dont need DVBapi could this be causing the problem ?
