  • Exchange Dvb-T2 Tuner

    Hi, I have 2 nos original Dreambox tuners,

    1. Dvb-S2 Tuner: able to perform 8 simultaneous recordings [4 for each Transponder] at the same time- TOTALLY NEW, never install or use this Dvb-S2 tuner as we only have cable transmission and do not have satellite transmission in our country
    2. Dvb-C Tuner: multiple recordings- Used for about a year and stopped using as our local Tv transmission has changed to Dvb-T2 system. Purchased & installed a new Dvb-T2 tuner and removed the Dvb-C Tuner.

    I was hoping to exchange it with a Dvb-T2 Dual Tuner for Duo2 [Vu+]

    Hi KiddaC, thank you so much for this awesome plugin. I would like to know if I am able to transfer the EPG settings from one box to another so that I do not need to re-assign the EPG again. If it is possible, please tell me how to do this? Thanks again

    Panda555: Thank you for the advice and Tsiplayer host. I notice there are 4 folders which the contents inside are to be copy into the IPTVPlayer respective folders of E2iPlayer plugin by Enigma1969 as per below,


    /usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions/IPTVPlayer


    • Content inside ‘hosts’ folder go to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions/IPTVPlayer/hosts
    • Content inside ‘icons’ folder go to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions/IPTVPlayer/icons
    • Content inside ‘iptvupdate’ folder go to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions/IPTVPlayer/iptvupdate

    As for the last folder ‘tsiplayer’, please tell me where should it be copy to?

    Hi Everyone, I restarted my Et10k after successful installation, when I selected the plugin it is a total black screen with no logo. I could only see the different name of the logo when I pressed the arrow keys. Could someone tell me what have I done wrongly please? Thank you

    Hi, thank you for this plugin. I would like to install it to my Duo2. I had unzip the latest plugin dated 31.10.2020 and found the following folders,

    1. etc

    2. Iptvplayer_rootfs

    3. usr


    I assume the internal files & folders of the above should be copy to root directory at the following folder,


    1.1 etc

    2.2 not sure where?

    3.3 usr


    Please see if the above is correct and let me know the folder ‘iptvplayer_roofs’ is to be copy to which location? Thank you

    I have a Dm7020Hdv2 and it is installed with a dual Dvb-T2 tuner which is an original Dreambox tuner but not the original tuner for this box. Due to this, many images doesn’t work. So if any of you Master know of any images that would work with this tuner, please let me know. Thank you

  • Dinobot 4k plus - Enigma2 box with Android

    Hi Everyone, recently my Android box is dying and I need to get one soonest possible. I was thinking of getting one that come with Engima2 and had read about the review sometime back that this Dinobot 4k plus is quite a good box. It has Dvb-T2 tuner, 4K, Hevc and most of all, it is supported by Hdfreak. But when I check their websites at, “https://dinobot-forum.com ” and “http://forum.dinobot.tv/forum.php”, it seem like they are not in operation. Any information of this box and recommendations of other boxes that is Enigma2 with Android will be most welcome. Thank you

  • News regarding PurE2 - updates, problems and so on...

    Hi Everyone, I am having the latest PurE2 v6.3 image and had successfully installed Kodi 17+ but cannot download any zip file or any update (available 10 updates) of the default files. Since I cannot download any zip file means it is the original Kodi without any plugin in it. I also notice it show “Kodi 17+” in plugin download but it changes to v18.6 after installation. I wonder if it is due to this reason that Kodi 18.6 is not compatible to PurE2 v6.3 image? Please help. Thank you

    All along, I had set the harddisk to standby after 2 minutes, and with this setting alone it seem insufficient. My present attached devices are as follows,

    • Usb flashdrive-for E2iPlayer-mostly for buffering
    • Internal harddisk- all timer recordings and downloads

    After reading through the recommended webpage, I feel you are advising me set “Kill Automounting”. So should I set “Kill Automount” to both the above devices?


    Please advise.
