Ok I got that.

I can log in to my setup using the default ports fine, do I need to portforward my domain to oscam?

Hi Guys

I've followed the automated script tutorial and I can log in to my Oscam / CCcam fine.

I've setup a domain to point to my server and it works fine, although I just get the default Ubuntu page saying "It works!

This is the default web page for this server.

The web server software is running but no content has been added, yet."

Is this right or should it be showing something else?

Well when I go to my dyns host in my browser, i just get the default page from ubuntu "it works" page is that right?

It seems to work now :)

I'm using a s k y Hub (White) Do I use the default ports as mentioned in the tutorial? 8888 and 16001?

What ports need to be forwarded (If any) in order for me to acesss the server from outside my network?

Yes I have a spare domain I don't use.

Do I need to install the DNS Updater or not and what details do I need to put in the A record at my domain Registar?

I've setup my oscam / cccam on a VM using Virtualbox.

I'm at the stage where I need to setup Dynamic DNS.
Rather than using a service, I already own a doamin name, can I just update the records at my Domain Registrar to point to my VM?

Apologies if I've posted in the wrong forum.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
