Dynamic DNS Question

    Hi guys


    I've setup my oscam / cccam on a VM using Virtualbox.


    I'm at the stage where I need to setup Dynamic DNS.
    Rather than using a service, I already own a doamin name, can I just update the records at my Domain Registrar to point to my VM?


    Apologies if I've posted in the wrong forum.


    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Taking into account that most servers come under attack constantly I would not use a domain that is used for other things like your personal business etc...
    But in theory yes it should work I imagine..
    you could have it set up in the router so to keep in constant also

    Yes I have a spare domain I don't use.


    Do I need to install the DNS Updater or not and what details do I need to put in the A record at my domain Registar?
