    I don´t actually watch much "live TV".

    Saying that , there is football on seven nights a week if that´s your cup of tea.(it´s not mine)

    There is a channel just about for every taste and interest so I don´t understand you stating that ¿ everything is dead?

    Your 19.2ºE dish isn´t restricted to German only..in fact I´d be as bold enough to say that M+ (Spain)

    leaves most other platforms behind in timely programming quality and choice..

    Only your good-self knows what you consider "watchable", for example I have never watched channel 5(UK),

    very seldom using German/French/Dutch or any other channels/platforms..

    In short, I have always been more interested in the hobbyist side rather than the actual viewing side.

    Most sat platforms transmit original usa/uk movies/series which are English speaking so its as simple as changing audio to English.

    I imagine 4k will soon be implemented more widely, more so by streaming than by satellite, now that 8k is just a "bend" away

    so I wouldn´t be in such a hurry to "throw in the towel " just yet..

    Perhaps if you can view these channels, you´ll just be missing English audio which I´d imagine will be on the radio.

    You have many followers on this site so it would be a shame to not continue but the choice is yours.

    I like most applaud your work but can you not see that this thread has turned course?

    I ask everyone to please stick to the main thread title and do not deviate as there is a section for other aspects.

    Yes bud ,from day one "thanks" posts have been removed whenever spotted.

    perhaps everyone needs to take the time to read site rules.

    I considered removing "offensive" posts but as you have already replied there´s not much point.

    As for your position, you are as free to post as you are to not post as you are to enter as not.

    Whilst your input is invaluable and much appreciated, NOBODY is under any obligation/compromise on this site,

    perhaps this is probably why it is one of the most popular sites!!!

    As an experienced user, you know that we cannot police all posts in all threads nor should we have to

    if all users were to adhere to the general well-being of the site.

    Indeed it´s been quite a while since we´ve chatted.

    As you commented on your own personal experience,
    I imagine like everyone else, I too have my own dramas/traumas

    and can only get on whenever....

    perhaps we simply just don´t coincide on at the same hour.
