Sorted and it was dead easy. For some reason I was usIng 10766 and once I changed it to 10765 it worked on openatv and openpli and it already works on BH and as above it works on vix so that's sorted. So simple but a right bind when it is not that obivious.

can you set your tv to 1080p and then select dot by dot? or try a different skin, or see the settings in your tv may have a feature to move pic up/down and from side to side or turn on or off overscan.

This has just foxed me. I am setting up a solo2 with Openpli4.1 and using a motorised dish along with a fixed dish on 9east for saorsat. As I can receive 9east SAORSAT no problems on a Uno using BH2.0.7 I assumed same would apply to Solo2 but blow me it just wont pick them up.

I chaNged the sat.xml from uno to solo2, and as a final resort I used the channel settings from the uno in the solo2 so that all the details for SAORSAT was already there but nothing not a glimmer.

Is this a bad tuner or can it be image dependent? Or am I making a basic error?

Puzzled and for the moment gutted.

no, you should not even try and why would you want to?? download the correct image to the vu+ duo and copy the configuration. You would not put diesel in an unleaded engine, same applies to images. Use the correct one.

Blindscan should get most but the only way to add vpid and apid, as far as I am aware, is to use dreambox edit.

have you got box connected to the network and is it working? can you give a clue where you got it, all those cams strikes me as odd. say what channels you are supposed to get? and can you say the version of Bh, should stick with this one for a bit first.

I may have confused you, I use the above method for seeing oscam. And I just now got it sorted. I d/loaded the openwebif plugin and checked the configuration, htto had authenication enabled, so I just said no and bingo back working.

get the vu+ solo se 2 with twin tuner or if money not a big constraint get the solo2 both are lightning fast, uno is still good but dated.

I am trying to use openwebif but when I put in ip address I get a pop up asking for username and password!! On the solo2 it opens with no need for username/pwd!!

I use oscam and mgcamd and cccam on the uno and may have set up something that has mucked up webif.

I have switched to openpli on solo2 and have always used bh2.0.7, as I have this in uno. With the openpli when I press of I dont get all the nice info I have on BH, eg press ok once I get a bar of info, and another press gives me emu info, transponder, hd, picture . signal strength and resolution and so on.

Is this kind of info image dependent? Its so long since I loaded BH I dont recall if I actually configured it the way it is but I like it.

can you say what sat, and give polarity, ie h or v and fec and symbol rate, or name channel and i'll test on my box. an uno

another great option is a sony play tv tuner and its a dual tuner, can be found very cheap in a certain site. i use it in ireland

you will need patience and try a few different makes of stick but dont try loading bh image or any other. try the original image that the box came with. i think you said 2 years warranty was up but as a last resort contact seller and they may do a deal or a fix.

no you can still try but if you go to vu community forum and say you have any image other than bh they wont help, although same suggestions may work, but they now have a vix forum as well!1
