  • Cant connect via ftp to VU+ Uno, used DCC and filezilla, first time ever happening

    thanks both, I have a little knowledge and that can be a dangerous thing, Master I have already done as you suggested. With DCC I get Telnet connected, FTP connected but before it always came up Enigma 2 connected and it does not now. With the uno I never bothered with a password. What I want to do really is run oscam and put card in the uno. I have another enigma 2 box, an ocatgon and that connects instantly as perusaul. I have powered uno off at rear, done a hard reset as well. You can check network network in uno as well and I get all green ticls = all OK.


    I am trying to avoid re-flashing. hope this helps. I will dig out notes from last september and if I have added a password I will be very annoyed with myself.

    AIA have the vu+ uno with BH2.0.7 and have used without fail since last september. I have a few cams loaded and mgcamd but got some gllitching today so wanted to edit cccam cfg. However when I try to connect with DCC I cant and same with filezilla. I have done all the checks and network is ok and I can even connect to my db500s with ccam.


    Can I assume my image has gone wonky or is there a workaround?

    hi, here is a little tip for you, when you download a plugin etc and it messes your box, find out where it is stored, then using DCC or Filezilla etc, go into box and delete the offending little bug...er, reboot box etc. Saves you a lot of hassle. but as said above go slow and make notes. Also when you want to add something double check that it is compatible..

    codar thanks for reply, uno is exceptional, takes a while to set up but worth it. Here is pic of my saorsat. no tv3 or 3e yet, ignore the 2 blanks, these are test channels, maybe for rte1 hd and tg4 hd. I get it on a sly zone 2. NB Get box with twin tuner or you will kick yourself. I have internal hdd as well. This box has a lot, it has 3 usb's as well. BH image is now version 2.0.7.3!! I also use a sony play tv usb tuner and that is in fact a dual tuner so with the 2 muxes I can record one mux and watch on other but with the number of tuners I have I can record a lot at same time!! For example I can record all of mux1 at same time and so on. that octagon.... well

  • Linux receiver for saorsat

    snap, i tried saorsat on the octagon sf8 hd for the last few days and diddly squat, its the first time I have ever come across this problem in a sat receiver. I am using openatv 3.00 image, updated daily. i can get saorsat easy on an uno with BH2.0.6 and a spiderbox!!


    In fact its the first time I have ever come across this problem. Also I cant tune in MUTV at 10east either. Did you get sorted and what did you have to do?

  • how can i delete project valerie using DCC got GSOD

    Hi, I installed project valerie in error ie pressed button too quick and when I did a reboot I get GSOD. I cant uninstall via uno as cant get past valirie wizard, my idea is delete file using dcc but where is it stored and what exactly do i delete?


    I am using BH2.0.7 and got all my bits working perfectly so gutted with the project valerie, it should carry a health warning.

  • Thinking Of Getting A new telly what would you go for !!!

    The important bit missing from your post is your budget or how much are you willing to pay. Its like all things you pay for what you get. At the moment a 47" for me would be this one Panasonic TX-L47DT65B but if price(good price at richer) 5 year guarantee ,ia a consideration then as mentioned check out the samsungs. Also dont believe what you see in the shops all those tv's are set up wrong and bear no relation to the settings used in a home environment. And do a google as well.
