thats a known fault, box has gone to deep standby. lots of fixes, are you aware of the vu+ community, they have a thread on that fault,
try this first and hope you are using BH image. turn off power AT BACK USING ROCKER SWITCH, THEN
Apply power to your receiver. wait until the white light has been on a couple of minutes, then press press the red power button on the remote. The white light on the receiver should blink and the box should boot in a couple of minutes.

can you not stick it together will tape and put it back in sky box and then go to system details, it will show card no.
You should get a box with twin tuner, the edison brand do a nice box, Edision Optimuss OS1+ Plus Linux HD Sat Receiver inkl. Wlan-Stick. Images, for the vu people like the vix a lot. I like BH. VU boxes will run any image. Openatv is very good as well.
thanks for getting back. That was a good swop on his part! That solo2 is quite a box. What you should have done was load a backup image first to get you going. That would have all the bits you need already installed and all you had to do was insert n line, set network and away you go. What happened was you started off from the wrong footing ie start with easy and then learn the complex bits. That mgcamd can be tricky.

You need to give a lot more information, how much do you want to spend, how much do you know about linux boxes? there are so many out there now and with your poor internet it may be a no go. have you read any of the other posts on here?

you don't say the model ie is it a solo2 etc. You don't say the image version either! And you don't say box you had previously!! Why dump n line to usb?? Say a bit more detail and you get better information. What cam are you going to use?

it will be an older version but same method for loading but for VU + box you should use VUCC .
Just to add there is a latest version 15.1a and I have it in a db500s and it rocks.
are you sorted and are you using 15.1a image?
I am setting up a db500s for a friend and got this great image, commando15.1a, makes the db500s very useful again, but it has me stumped in that adult channels can be locked and for the life of me I cant find out how to do the unlock so can someone help me out! Only had image since sunday so learning all the button presses etc. It has an adult bouquet but that has a key symbol against it!!

mutv changed frequency. I just loaded the most up to date ch list ie catseyes but don't know anything about your box. It will work in an original box as that will be retuned automatically.
buenso, there is a facility in Blackhole called autocam and this allows you to set whatever you want per channel, so for say setanta use ccam 230, bt sport use oscam, and another sport use mgcamd, when you switch it will say " wait .. starting oscam etc.
oops you dont say what box you are iisng, I use vu+ uno original, BH does not like clones and it may not run on some boxes. So be wary but its an awesome image. I use BH2.0.7 and as everything works as I want it to I am not budging. The latest is BH2.1.5 .
its best to never update BH using the online service.

It may be linked to use of twin tuners the other end may see 2 requests and bounce you off. tell them you are on twin tuners and see what happens
You should use USALS for motorised and use a pre -prepared motorised channel list, eg catseyes.
not any more, much more tricky to get these days.
2.1.1 should be ok, can you confirm that you have attributes set at 755 on the cfg. [HR][/HR][HR][/HR]
what version of Blackhole are you using in the db800? and are you sure oscam/ccam is running? and with BH how are you starting the ccam? You would be better just using ocsam in the sever and ccam in the db800 but the latest BH likes ccam 230 best.
