I dont think dbox edit ect will work,
but the remote modifying the bouquets will.
or by going ftp to var/tuxbox/config/zapit -

Flashed a dm this morning with this image and it worked all right
epg perfect.. (its not many dm images will beat this for epg...) -

you might have dodgy tuner/corrupted image LOL

have you got a signal on say 28'
have you got a motor on your dish?. if so have you set longitude/latitude
if no motor change image or change settings for your sat -
Why dont you just close it manually ???

This is the way i do it and always get updates
get rid of dvbapiserver:
emmcache = 1,3,2
blockemm-u = 0
blockemm-s = 0
blockemm-g = 1
blockemm-unknown = 1CCcam.cfg
DISABLE EMM : no
#EXTRA EMM LEVEL : yes (or delete line)
if you have a receiver/client box
on Ccam.cfg
use an f and c like so
F: annie way
C: 192.168.1.20 port annie way. 192.xxx.x.xx being your server
and the updates will work. and patience
you will get the emm's form receiver -
have you the cams activated/turned on ?

If your trying to boot using network it wont work, make sure its not ticked.
As regards rs232 to usb may work if you configure it properly (what a pain) -
press the audio button and select english

leave well enough alone daveboy you proberly have about 2 mb connection if you are in a rural area
