Have you got this in oscam server
    [reader]
    label = ****K
    protocol = pcsc
    device = 0
post your configs leaving out the ****** bits and it might help
on some setups you don't even have to #out any thing (single reader setups)
did you update/install pcsc "apt-get install opensc" ??? hope this helps annie.

Here is another way of installing WEBMIN worked perfect 4 me
Tried this on ubuntu it works 10.4/12.04 tested
log on to server then go winscp/putty
copy and paste in putty ect 2,3,4
    1 sudo -i
    2 wget -c http://www.webmin.com/download/deb/webmin-current.deb
3 sudo dpkg -i webmin-current.deb (ignore the errors)
4 sudo apt-get -f install (this will fix the errors/dependencies, , recompile, and install webmin.)
Now, login to your webmin server.( your own pc)
    ( example: https://192.168.1.36:10000/ )
then use your login/password, argree if you have to in firewall

    On the new bh2.0.0 oe2

ftp 2.6 version over to folder already created from the ipk install

as per norm. epg, swap ect.. anyone able to explain how to use meboot
what files do zip to get it to work?? i am trying to get my vix
    in there as well TIA

hi mrgmx i fpt it to the folder on the vu then hard reboot (disconnect mains)
the same way to get the 1channel working and noticed the files ending with
.pyo in the resolvers folder then no "gsod" LOL

first goto intelsat1w or thor 0.8 [if in ireland goto atlantic bird 5w] this is you ref sat.
go to the menu where you can change between diseqc and usals. if your dish was set up with usals then the settings should already be there.
here you will see the Longitude and Latitude. Slightly increase your longitude, prefrably by 0.5 and press `go to position` [or whatever your reciever says] check if the signal has increased or decreased. If it has increased then you are going the right way and hen add 0.2 if it has gone down take away 1.0(0.5 to compensate for your first attempt and the other 0.5 to go the other way) if the signal goes up, add another 0.2 if down then your original alignment was perfect.
at this stage if you have not been able to improve you signal then get out to the shed and bring out the ladder. you will need to skew the lnb. but first make sure you have a marker to mark the lnb`s current skew. once you have done that slightly turn the lnb both ways until you have peaked the signal.
    then you should be sorted.
please inform me if you think ive missed anything out as this has come out of the top of my head, [i learnt this 6 months ago].
if you are using usals to move your diseqc motor you will need to put in your longitude and latitude for your location.
go to multimap.com and enter your postcode when done so below the map you will get your longitude and latitude

    eg.
    Lat:51:32:32N (51.54227)
Lon:0:44:43E (0.74537) if this has a minus it means west
always use the numbers in the brackets.
look at your motor settings >usals/gotox and see how many numbers it can fit.
for the TM it is xx.x
so you will have to round the figures up/down to fit so in the TM I would put-
    latitude 51.5 N
    longitude 0.7e
if your receiver take more numbers you can put it as on the multimap but I just use extra 0's
    latitude 51.500 N
    longitude 0.700 E
cant remember were i got this, See post 17 as well Remember "Atlantic bird 5w"
is your most south position eg...goto " 0 " ,,,remember the world is not round you
have to get it into an arc.. Your setting should be about 053.000 north _008.200 west.
when your almost/finished you can tweak the 008.200 eg change to 8.100/7.900 and so on
Till you get the strongest signals
    hope this gets you going..LOL

If you in ireland near (s/w limk) do not 0.8 as a ref use Atlantic bird 5w. as your
reference point eg.. goto "0" set it here it should look straight pointing south,
then swing disk to say 13' fine giving it gink left right up/down very slightly
then go 28' same and so on till you get happy go lucky position
PS dont be to worried if you have to change the long/lat mine at the mo
is 8.200w my real is about 8.6 so you might have to tinker
a little with these again till you reach a happy medium
    hope this helps LOL..

HI nano, i not having a argument, just stating the fact that most psu' units for laptops these days
are in the region of 18-22v, some have 3 wires 1 is for sence eg.
dell so you have to buy the right replacement. i have not seen a 12v one
in an age all i was trying to get across if some one connected that to the dm
he would not have a problem with it any more, as it would be fokced LOL

A Laptop psu will not so ad the voltage on most is between18-22volt
if you have a psu for a external hdd they are normally 12volt
the current needed is 2/3 amp, if you have a 12volt psu
center pin positive if you have 2/4/10 amp the amp will not matter
as the dm will only draw what current it needs (AMPS).
but the volts will 12-13.8 volts only...
