ok buddy, the bin files from the link you posted are good enough and will work.... but as you already mentioned with the BH image if you do a manual update of oscam and look in the blue panel you will still see the old version showing even though you know that it has been updated... this is one for the BH devs I would think.

Not sure what cam pack that was you have installed bud, remove it and pick a oscam ipk from here...

2. when you would like to update oscam and have FTP'd a new bin file, then why does it not show the new oscam version in "Cam selection" in your BH image? (mine did still show the old version)...that is all i need to know to stand alone and help others with the same issue sometime :)
Hi people, i have just updated my Vu Uno box to Black Hole 2.0.9 image and then i would just update Oscam also. I have done this before and this time i did the same: downloaded Oscam9533.ipk fom Nabilo in here and installed ipk file on box...CHmod bin file to 755, FTP'd config files back in etc/tuxbox/config, restarted Oscam in Cam-selection. But then nothing more happens?? The webif is not running also? I have only 12 clients on my box and maybe only 4 or 5 are watching tv now...i dont know if that has anything to say? But please help! Why is the blind scan so slow on the Vu+Duo2 receivers. I have compared the scan times on both C band and Ku band using Openvix, Openatv and Pnigma images which do not use plugin related scan. The comparison was against an Octagon linux based receiver model 1028 which utilizes StiLinux and does not use a plugin related scan.
The Vu+ Duo has a much, much faster processor and memory compared to the Octagon's 450 mhz. chip. It would seem to me that even if the current blind scan drivers for the Vu+ are not optimized, they should still scan faster than the Octagon.
I sincerely hope the coders iron out the kinks in the drivers because it is doing a terrible disservice to the performance of this outstanding receiver.
Did you ever get any feedback on this question sir? I found the VU+Solo2 to be slow also...even a clone DM800se scans it faster when i test a little :(

Hi everyone...i have installed a new motherboard in my DM500hd clone box and soldered tuner back on motherboard also. When i turn on the box then, the led light turns green but nothing else happens...no fan spinning, no IP address is assigned to the box and no bootlogo what so ever shows! (see video) So my question is: What do i need to do with this new motherboard to get the box working again? :) How to do it?? I cannot find any guide online for this! Has anyone tried this? compiled it myself. I've swapped to Linux pc as my box seems to be totally unreliable now disconnecting some boxes, either that or my bt v3 router

Yes that's maybe right but I only have 4 boxes that I want to do this on, but I was just wondering HOW TO DO IT ? ...my guess is open webif port in friends router, get he's external IP address...then type he's Ip like: xxx.xx.xx.xxx:webifport and type message in messages webif..am I right you think?? :)
Hi guys, out of pure curiosity i was wondering if you could send messages to other friends STB boxes like you can send message to your own box through webinterface. Then the messages is coming on their TV screen, does anybody know if that's possible ? (see picture also).
Thanks for the Guide mate...and yes i could build my own, but i just think there is more downsides with that for me personally, i would rather go for a version that is compiled with PCSC support and honestly i dont get why there is plenty of the PCSC versions in the i686 download section on http://download.oscam.cc/index.php when there is no one in the x64 section?? Does someone know that? or were to find some of the latest oscam with PCSC support ?...because i cannot :(

A "side-effect" question from me would be, how can it be when i look in my usr/bin folder now..the foscam bin file seems to have a long name (oscam-1.20-unstable_svn8519-x86_64-linux-gnu-ssl-libusb-pcsc)...but should it not be called "oscam" only to work properly?? see picture..

@Nano...when ever you have the time, could you help me a little further...I know how to flash and all both with dreamUp and Browser, but It just doesn't work out for me. 1. If I turn On the box with the front power button held in...it DOES NOT show me the green text with image info and IP address?? MIT only did that the FIRST TIME before I flashed Gemini 5.10 image to it...so maybe that Gemini is NOT a compatible image (I don't know) but anyway the box can still turn on fine and go to flash mode, I just need a compatible image with possible Cccam install and don't know where to find it mate :( can you help? regards

Hi...i have a clone dm500hd that is completely dead...have tried all guides and advices and cannot get it to work so think it is the simcard (sim2.10). Then someone in here told me that i could by a A8P or Ferrari simcard for this box and then could install original DMM or Ferrari images on it! So my questions is now: Which one to prefer over another? and lastly.. should i then do something special beside flashing the box as normal via webif?? Hope someone have a answer maybe :)
Hey great people...i have installed Cccaminfo 1.3c and it's working just fine...BUT is there anyone who might know if you can remove/disable the status-line bar showing in top of your tv every time you push the OK button just once? It's really annoying that this status bar is showing every time you switch channel or anything and its blocking for the volume bar also ( See picture).774bc3ae7f8e1e28e4.jpg Can anyone help me here??
