Install your cam through the plugins menu. (There will be no configs)
Transfer your configs to config location depending on cam.
Start the cam and Enable startup in softcam manager.

Are you forwarding ports on your router to the receiver.

You would be better off using XMLTV/EPG importer for Rytec EPG sources. Especially when using OpenPLI.
Reasons for discouraging usage of CrossEPG to download from net are:
The chap who uploads the data does a great job. But he hates CrossEPG. If you post raising an issue, the first thing he will tell you is to stop using CrossEPG.
EPG/XMLTV importer works in background so you do not lose control of receiver while it downloads.
Cross EPG is not able to download DVB-C EPG from the signal cable/stream. It can only do so by downloading from the internet.
If you are downloading Rytec's "Virgin UK xmltv" from the net, you are better off using xmltv/EPG importer.
Personally, I'd prefer to download from signal cable. Enable Virgin EPG in the EPG menu. Zap to Virgin Preview channel for two minutes daily. You can automate the zapping by using EPG refresh plugin.
If buying a new receiver, I would not be invest in the 400MHz CPU receivers. They are very old.
Most important thing is to install correct Cams for image you are using. Do one thing at a time. If you get stuck, explain clearly and step by step what you have done.
The LX3 does not accept USB tuners and is limited to four tuners. Does this have same issues?

Did you download an ipk or install from image's plugin server? You must use one for ARM based receivers.
As a default, ABM does not touch non-ABM bouquets, apart from placing itself on top. You can make ABM bouquets come last if you want.
As mentioned above, the keep non-ABM bouquets option can be changed if you want to remove non-ABM bouquets.
The order in which the providers are created can be altered using the Providers order menu.

Upload the custom file you are working with the moment.
You said a few channels. Please say exact number of channels. You will most probably have to make a bouquet at the beginning to avoid a clash.

Some members spend a lot of their time getting things for others and uploading to forum. There was a spate of "click thanks before downloading", and then the new feature was added.
As much as I am in favour of expressing gratitude for what others do, in my opinion, it is a sad state of affairs that you have to click thanks/likes to see what the content is. You may not even like what the post is.
Can the click thanks/likes to see post/attachment be removed please?

I ma getting confused by your posts. Which of the following statements is true?
1. You want to make another bouquet using Enigm2 features and/or Settings editor on PC. ABM not involved in this process.
2. You want ABM to make another bouquet for you.
The Virgin EPG patch by LraiZer was added to OE-A and PLI images in 2014. Almost all recent images will have it. You will have to enable it in EPG menu of most images.

That has nothing to do with ABM. The favourites bouquet is a system bouquet, some images hide blank bouquets. They will be displayed as soon as they have a channel in them.
Open your list of channels
Add service to bouquet
Select the bouquet you want to use and press OK
You will have to update these channels yourself

A unicable LNB is a special LNB and they are not cheap. (They are well worth it if you have a receiver with an FBC tuner like the Solo 4k.) You are unlikely to have one if you have an old setup.
That diagram is meant to indicate LNBs aimed at different satellites. It does not matter if the LNBs are on one dish or several. Situation is the same.
Whichever way you look at it, you will have to run a cable to make the most of your receiver. You can swap the standard LNB to a unicable LNB and then use a splitter , but you will lose usage of the other LNBs.
You can still use internal loopthrough, but you will be tied to the same quadrant as being used on the main tuner.
