Apologies if this is wrong context. I post with regards to EPG and not bouquets.

Cross EPG Downloader (Signal download) does not EPG data from for cable from the stream. It only downloads from Rytec's servers and other host. If you must download the EPG from the internet, and data is wrong/missing (be it cable or otherwise ), best to inform Doglover on the PLI forum.

Personally, I would enable the Virgin EPG option and zap daily to the Virgin Preview channel (or any other on the same frequency). This means you get data directly from the provider.

I'm guessing you are using Mgcamd and the logging option is on. Change the L value to 0 instead of 3. Use a linux compatible editor like notepad++

    Trouble:
    L: { 03 } 172.16.1.1 28007 /tmp/mgcamd.log

    Fine
    L: { 00 } 172.16.1.1 28007 /tmp/mgcamd.log

    Fine
    L: { 00 }

If I am correct, you should tell the forum from which you downloaded the file.

For a conventional scan to pick up channels, the frequency must be listed in cables.xml. The UK one is a mess and not maintained. Best to do a step scan.

You can run ABM without creating bouquets. This does not depend on cables.xml.

bodiddly, you can install ABM from the BlackHole plugin server.

Having enigma2 in the dependencies in the control is not necessary. It forces an update of enigma2 (if one is available). So may be a good idea removing it and the fonts too.

You have lots of unnecessary tabs in your file.
You may wish to use the layout in the attached file. There are a few number changes in a fortnight, may make things easier for you.

We recently changed the values in Autodiseqc on OpenVix image to check that frequency. If you select Automatic in tuner configuration, it will check if you get a lock on the EPG frequency.

Alternatively, you can go to signal finder and see if you get a tuner lock on 11778, V, 27500, 2/3.

your tuner is not looking onto the frequency that has the EPG data.

you may have configured your tuners incorrectly or this is an alignment/other hardware issue.

    Rat's Bouquets @ DigitalWorldz Channel/Bouquet Updater

    v2 - 15/03/16

Rat @ DigitalWorldz is proud to introduce the new version of Rat's Bouquet/Channel Updater.

    New Features:

    • Download Local/Regional version of Rat's Bouquets**

    • New improved downloader (quicker)

    • Get informed of any new version of plugin (within 'About' screen)

    How to Install:
Copy plugin .ipk to /tmp location and from image menu choose option of installing local plugin, or alternatively, use Telnet/putty.

After installation, a restart of box will be required.

**Rat's Bouquets now even better with support for Regional/local variations

Yes, due to popular demand Rat's Bouquets now offers regional variations.

After choosing to update Bouquets from menu, you will then get to choose from a variety of regions.

The regions are split into SD and HD as follows:-

SD regions will have local/regional BBC and ITV (inc +1) in SD. This is because with regards to BBC there are no regional/local HD channels - they're all still broadcast in SD and the HD channel displays a splash screen whenever regional/local programme is on. With regards to ITV, they also don't support all regions in HD (only a limited a few) so the SD version ensures you get local/regional.

HD regions will have HD channel like BBC and ITV but obviously may not be local/regional depending on whether that region has it's own local HD channel or that of another region (ITV does this).

    Enjoy.

Thanks goes to ketmp for designing/coding it

You find the Net ID in the engineers menu of your receiver. HAve aserach on teh net for how to do so.

With regards to version number, I was enquiring about the version of AutoBouquets Cable, not AutoBouquetsMaker. You had mention AutoBouquets Cable did not allow you to change Net ID.

    ......
tried using larizeries c2 and does not allow me to select the net id so i got
him to click on start and took 10 mins.

You can put any number in service scan, it will still work. Sometimes, people then become adamant they are using the correct NetID.

Best thing to do is to check the Engineer's menu on official receiver.

There was another post saying the same thing.

Which version of the plugin are you using, latest is 25/01/2016
How are you trying to/select the region ?

    And your EPG settings page?
    Menu > Setup > EPG > Settings

Are you just trying things in the hope it works, or following a guide? If you are following a guide, please post a link to it.

Is "UDisk" the name of your USB stick, or is that the abbreviation for micro SD card for your receiver?

This is a script/plugin to remove EPG data. My thanks to Birdman for his assistance.

The receiver will restart, so do not run it while recordings are taking place. It is a good idea to uninstall afterwards. The script run is as below.

The sleep command is there to allow E2 to close. Otherwise the EPG held in RAM could be re-written.

NB: There is a similar process in the System-tools plugin.
