I have been caught once when flashing an image over an old one. There were remnants that affected the new image. LraiZer and @PaphosAl advised me to use dreamup using flash erase and then flash chosen image. However this is not possible for everyone owing to serial cable issues. Commando flash process via Gui has a flash erase process, so you can flash image again.

    Is this the one?

I am attaching an axcel file to help those who want to make favourites.xml and maybe other files too. (You'd need to be using the ABM from Hades 012 or newer)

There are three columns to edit.
Column A = The channel number you want to modify/add/use to in your list. (Target)
Column B = The offical channel number you want to use. (Source)
Column C= The provider from which you want to import from.

    One column to USE:
You can then copy column E into a linux compatible editor to make your file. I have used a favourites.xml layout, amend for your sections and anything else you may want. You will need to edit for custom mix.

Column D: This is for information only. It describes the channel name based on the current numbers. The numbers and chanenls to which they correspond will need to be edited as and when changes occur.

[strike]You have to alter the custom_sort_3 file and select that in biuquet sort option. They will then be in the order you want.[/strike]
There is a bug in AB 28.2 with regards to the RoI channels. This is fixed in the Neutrino version and will be ported to the E2 version some time.

You would be better off using ABM to make your own favourites bouquet. Hopefully this file will help you.

ABM and AB 28.2 do not use the satellites.xml for obtaining the data. Only the name to validate the existence of satellite on system.

ABM obtains the channel tuning values directly from the satellite. There is no need to perform a conventional scan. In any case, unless you have a blind scan receiver, you will only find the chanenls on the transponders listed in the satellites.xml file. By enabling not indexed channels in ABM (Expert mode needs to be enabled), you will get all the channels on 28.2 in less than a minute. This applies to both ABM that the OP has asked about as well as in Lraizer's AutoBouquets.

    @Sedor
    Manually scan 11464, Horizontal, 22000, 5/6
Also check in Satfinder that you get a lock on this TP

If you do not receive it in the scan/get a lock, then there is a reception issue which you will need to investigate.

Having seen a thread on another forum where it took several pages to get to teh root cause,in my opinion, when fellow member's post about tune failed, it is better to check that they can get a lock on the affected TP instead of going through all change bouquet, how did you transfer, run this/that, update .xml. Obvioulsy easy in cases when there is only one version of a channel.

I was intending to add a screenshot showing the tranponder details, but forum's not letting me in this section. I have uploaded it here: http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=89927&p=289309#post289309

Hopefully one of the mods will merge.

    Manually scan TP.

    SD is on
    11670
    22000
    Horizontal
    5/6

HD, as you say is on
    11538
    2300
    vertical
    2/3

Maybe check in Satfinder that you can lock onto the TP. It's working fine here.

Channel moved manually would ahve to be moved again following subsequent runs of the plugin. You can edit the supplement file to add them to teh bouquets created by AB 28.2. As posted by lincsat

BT Sports Extra streams are now testing. They can be added to the supplement.txt file in AB as below to make them appear on channel 450-456

    Code
    #BT Sport Extra
    450:5081:1:d031:909:11a0000:BSkyB:NDS:BT Sport Mosaic
    451:5031:1:c49b:819:11a0000:BSkyB:NDS:BT Sport Extra 1
    452:5082:1:cfe4:909:11a0000:BSkyB:NDS:BT Sport Extra 2
    453:5083:1:cfee:909:11a0000:BSkyB:NDS:BT Sport Extra 3
    454:5084:1:cff8:909:11a0000:BSkyB:NDS:BT Sport Extra 4
    455:5085:1:d002:909:11a0000:BSkyB:NDS:BT Sport Extra 5
    456:5086:1:d00c:909:11a0000:BSkyB:NDS:BT Sport Extra 6

The "skip unavailable HD chanenls" coding that ZoomZoomLuke introduced has been in main xml file since Hades was released. There are three types of each location. Please look at the end of the location name. I am using London as an example:

    1. London HD
Almost exact lineup as on an offcial HD receiver

    2. London SD
Almost exact lineup as on an offcial SD receiver

    3. London Custom
Numbering is the same as an official SD receiver.
    Unavailable HD channels are skipped.
Other hacks come into play such as "not indexed" (extra channels from other regions as well as test channels)
Other channels are inserted such Premier Sports for regions whcih should not have them

You can reach the custom variant quicker by scrolling left instaed of right.

If you are getting sid not found in PAT, this is becasue you are using the wrong NetID.

You do not need the cables.xml file, it is only used for conventional scanning. ABM, AB 28.2 and AutoBouquets Cable do not use conventional scanning, they obtain the channel data from the stream. ABM will scan in less than a minute for you. AB Cable should complete in significantly less than 10 minutes for you, I've not used it for a while, it should be roughly two minutes.

Cable channels do not change that often, so no need for a daily scan.
