AutoBouquets should copmplete in roughly 50 seconds apart from first run. You will have to report issues with Catseye's settings in his thread. Similar thing happened with ABM.

For the benefit of those who cannot install 24th Sept version e.g older file on feeds, I am attaching manual installation version. Replace existing one located at /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/

(.py files not mentioned as pyo files present)

Please take the time to read the chaneglog/readme file as you are coming from an old version.

Problem 1 - HD channels placed in SD channel positions
This is the result of Custom Channel swap. If you do not want this, disable it.

Problem 2 - channels missing and number sequence lost in Sports
As we cannot view those HD channels, they have been skipped

Problem 1 is new to me - makes sense but differing from S**UK causes a problem - so would like it fixed.
Solution above.

Problem 2 I have had before and could only fix by doing a service scan, however I assumed that this version fixed that problem.
But what will this achieve? You cannot view those channels. If you still want them, we can post regression for you. Not sure where your 402/3 have gone

Using HD first with numbers and HD first with no numbers.

Post screenshots of your other bouquets. I must emphasise, different bouquet, not different section of first bouquet.

if you dont know where it is, then you would not have changed it. so lets leave that possibility out.

In E2, you have an option that each bouquet starts at 1. This would break the numbering function if you were in any bouquet other than the first one. (Enterainment bouquet is not the first bouquet.)

The settings are written to the settings file in /etc/enigma2/. Your selections will be remembered when you overwrite the plugin.

1. What date is shown you press the blue (About) button? There are 2 versions in September, 24th being the latest one. The one attached in post 6 appears to be 24th.
2. I suspect you did not chmod 755 the scripts and reader after transferring contenst of post 6. If those files do not have the crrect permissions, you will get a permisison denied error. I normally give folder and contents 755 properties.
3. No other BlackHole users has raised an issue, so this may well be irrelevant. Can you try changing the Hide Pli placeholder option to No.
4. In your sort options, select "Large 1st Bouquet"
5. In your image's channel selection settings, (not AutoBouquets plugin settings) what settings do you have for alternate numbering?

You screenshot is that of the first bouquet. Can you post the entertainment bouquet? Are you sure that the numbering does not work?

No need to reboot receiver. Chanenls lists are kept in RAM, so just changing bouquets is adeqiuate after a run of ABM.

People kept on complaining that the channel numbers in the bouquets did not match numbers. The default installation was made to be HD first to cater for this scenario. What used to be called "Default" in the sort options is now called "Large 1st Bouquet"

I still am not understanding what you are trying to convey.
Explain everything. Write down all the button sequences and menus you go through and select. Basically someone should be able to do exactly as you did and reproduce the error.
What is your dish setup?
Have you set your location?
How are you scanning?

What are you updating? I don't understand fully what you mean about it scans for 40secs.

Formatting wil lwipe everything. Before doing so, FTP your picons to PC and then FTP them back after you have initialised USB stick.
You will only be presented with the storage devices it has mounted. Don't worry what it is mounted as. First device is usualy mounted as HDD even if it is USB stick. Just follow the instructions you posted above after saving your picons.

Initialise=Format. You only need to iniatlise it if it is not in ext file system. You wont be able to create a swap file using GUI if you have a non-ext file system.

Either reboot and click BLUE > BLUE (Update available) or start over again with this morning's bang up to date build attached. More info in the info.zip file attached, which is also included in the rar package (along with libcrypto for mgcamd testers).

Just to add to above...
This is because SID and ONID are the same across all the frequencies.

If there is a reception issue, better off scanning just the frequency channels used by local transmitter.

If you install from plugins menu it will have a config file. CCcam may even be pre-installed.

The 4D image are based on OpenPLI. No need to search net, there are cams are right here on forum

You won't get multiple instances of channels on terrestrial.

EPG data also download s automatically for freeview when you are on any channel.

Can we clarify what we are trying to do?

Resolve scanning/reception issues?
Place channels in bouquets?
Automate grabbing EPG data?

You don't need to scan terrestrial channels every day.

What have you configured the tuner as in terms of region?
