If you flashed the latest image, it would have the latest xml file. But no harm done.

You either have an alignment or hardware issue. You are going to have to investigate which it is. Please list the frequencies you cannot receive signal on. Use signal finder to check the ones I listed above. ( I have edited the list owing to an error and some missing entries)

Performing single satellite scan (as in post 4) is a good indicator of how many channels you get. Plugins like AutoBouquetMaker (ABM) and Autobouquets 28.2 (AB 28.2) read the SI table and import channels even though you cannot receive them. Post back with the result of how many channel you get.

You may be entering the frequencies incorrectly. Download latest satellites.xml file and place in /etc/enigma2. There is a link at top of forum for downloading XML file.

If on the other hand you are finding the channels but they are not clearing (viewable), there may be a hardware fault. With an updated XML file, you should be getting roughly 750 channels.

The time format code for skins should be consistent across the images.

"Just scan" should be off. This will mean the TV will not scale the incoming picture.

The advice from Enigma2 developers is to to prevent TV from scaling. If that can't be done, then you adjust box output to fit into space that TV is scaling/cropping things into.

Enable "unlinked bouquets " if you want to see bouquets not referenced in bouquets.tv

The output from box is correct. It is the TV that is overscanning it. Anyway, up to you.

If it is the router, your PC will have same problem. Try downloading the file from your PC. You posted a picture instead of text, so we can't try for you.

If the Teamblue server with that file is unavailable, try flashing a newer TeamBlue image.

Why use two methods? Pick one

1. Stream relay bouquets

2. Enigma2 function to play service with stream relay

The whitelist file that biko hosts needs to be updated. The instructions above for correcting it and an individual level are above. The channels move transponders so service references need to be updated. It would be great if others could advise him/submit pull requests too.

Install the ipk and it will do what is needed depending on image.

Good, I am pretty sure your image does not need separate stream relay bouquets.

1. Run the script Mahmoud posted. It will fetch the stream relay whitelist file. This means you don't have to mark individual services.

2. Install Levi's oscam package. It will detect your receiver and image and then install the correct binary and softcam files.

Samur just supplies his binaries. If you want to use his files, you have to add other files to make the image control the binary file. Although I think OBH is much like Commando, you place the binary, it chmods it and you can just start it.

Which image are you using? Name and version/date please.

They should have a protective film. Try a hair dryer (low heat setting) on it. You should then be able to remove the film easily.

You have to enable the kexec multiboot functionality after you flash the first image of your choice. You can then flash other images into different directories.

The FBC tuners will not blind scan.

Draw a picture of your LNBs, Dishes, cabling and any switches if you want useful advice instead of people having to guess what equipment you have and speculate how it should be configured. Your tuner configuration must match the hardware to avoid issues.

In essence, there are two questions in your question.

Q. Why are openatv images called nightly?

A. They are generally built every night to take in other changes

Q. Is OpenATV 7.4 a good image.

A. Yes It is It is their stable image.

As with all image updates, there are always unintended consequences. Report any you encounter and they should be rectified.

Which receiver? Which image? Please also say image version/date.
