Both of my boxes have Xstreamity epg saved to etc/enigma2/xstreamity/epg
That is going to fill up your internal flash memory. Please use a storage device.
Plugin could do with reading the epg cache location and using that.

Whichever region you pick in ABM for sky 28.2, ABM uses the tuner to lock onto the same transponder and read details. Crossepg and opentv EPG downloader use the same transponder too.
It's probably the rain dying down that has increased your reception to an acceptable level. You will continue to have intermittent problems until you identify and resolve the underlying issue. You need to reach a state where a scan finds channels on all active transponders. It's currently just over 650 services. ABM does not scan, it reads data on the SI tables. So don't use the plugin as a gauge.
All the best.
I have a h9s se and it definitely has that tuner.
I do hope you conduct the tests above exactly as I have said. I have been involved with ABM and AB 28.2 for a long time and am only posting pertinent tests for you to conduct.
Other Zgemmas with the RS6060 tuner do not have a problem scanning 28.2 or using ABM. So it isn't the tuner in my opinion. You are saying an enigma2 scan and ABM do not work on that receiver. ABM is a plugin, it does not scan, it reads the tables. Please don't waste your time using ABM until you resolve your issue. Any reports you make to the seller/manufacturer are likely to conflate issues, so just stick to scanning with the function in Enigma2.
Transferring a channel list from one receiver to another, has nothing to do with the tuner. Enigma2 will add them. Even if you had a faulty tuner with blown capacitors, the channels would still be loaded. You can also add cable and Terrestrial channels when you don't have a cable/terrestrial tuner.
I am presuming that you have tried swapping the wires you are using for tuners A and B too. If you have only one wire, I presume one tuner is unconfigured/disabled.
As I said, some LNBs have a fault where when more than one receiver is connected, they exhibit a fault. Please put all the other receivers in deep standby, not just standby, then try your new receiver and check if you can lock onto 11778 v 27500. You dont need to scan, there are no viewable channels. If you get a lock on that transponder, try an enigma2 scan for the whole satellite. If you get less than 650, there is a problem.
After this, try the same tests with one of your other receivers in the same location and with the same wires that you are trying with the H17.
A single satellite scan of 28.2 should get you over 650 channels, so you have a hardware issue which you need to identify and resolve. ABM needs to lock onto the frequency I mentioned for Sky UK. Freesat uses a different transponder.
Some possibilities are:
PSU fault
LNB fault (Some have issues when multiple receivers are connected to it)
LNB skew
Dish alignment
F-plug connection
Cable damage
Interference from nearby electrical equipment.
The previous issue was that the drivers did not allow automatic for the FEC value. They were all changed subsequently.
Your issue is most likely something else. Please verify in signal finder that you can receive 11778 Vertical. You have to check that specific transponder, not just the first one it picks. Also, if you perform a manual scan, changing option to single satellite, how many channels do you find?
Surely better to flash an image and install what you need?
If you do get an Enigma2 receiver, some points to note:
Do not confuse channel lists/groups with EPG. EPG is what Sky calls synopsis.
The EPG button was primarily coded to invoke the EPG screens. Although you can select channels using the EPG screens, best to become accustomed to the channel selection method first.
An Enigma2 receiver won't be able to reach online services like iPlayer etc
Channels have service references. Enigma2 uses these for recording/selection etc. They do change from time to time, so you will have to update any timers you set.
Auto timers will allow you to set a series recording, but involves a bit of refining to get the correct timers to set.
Any Enigma2 receiver with twin tuners will be sufficient for your needs. The one mentioned by claihew is good enough. Although I wouldn't waste money on an SSD, it's not needed. A 5400rpm mechanical HDD is good enough.
It's a huge learning curve when you migrate to Enigma2. Deal with one issue at a time. Plenty of people to help if you get stuck.
You will have to adjust the osd size/position then. Your image , whichever it is, will have an option to do this.
That is not the plugin. You have to switch off overscan/just scale on your TV. If you cannot, then adjust the osd position.
I am attaching this list of channels on 28.2e which use streamrelay for anybody wanting to test zapping to viewable channels, subject to your card having entitlements. Its an excel file. If you put your IP address in the yellow box at the top, the hyperlinks should work for zapping on your receiver. The list of services was created by the code currently in ABM's Sky 28.2 provider file, so should be correct.
How do you think you are going to install it, if you do not go into the plugin menu? If you want help, you need to describe which menus you are accessing. post pictures of what you are seeing so we can see what you are doing.
Menu > Plugins > Green to Install, Select the "system plugins" for this plugin, enable it ( it will then show a tick), then confirm the installation.
i dont find M3UIPTV for mu dreambox 900 and openATV 7..
Why do you keep saying 7.blank blank. Please say the full number! I have already shown you a screenshot of it showing in openatv plugins server. However, If it is already installed, it won't show in that section. Please show the screenshots of what you are seeing.
Alternatively, please install by command line using Putty or Terminal.
opkg install enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-m3uiptv
These are my results. Please post your result!

I have a dm900 and had some lockup issues. I ended up formatting the "data" partition in order to get the receiver to work. I used the following command as posted by Captain
I had previously also flashed the recovery image in the recovery thread posted above. I have not had to do it since then,
I have just flashed the openATV 7.6 image a few minutes ago. it booted fine for me. I did things slightly different to your instructions/process.
Boot into recovery mode
Flash the rootfs.tar.bz2image image using the "firmware upload" tab
After it completes, click on reboot.
I dont have any restore files, so it did not "fast restore" for me. Are you sure it's not crashing after the restore? Maybe you can upload your log for the flashing process? It may show what the problem could be. It should't result in a blue screen from the recovery page.
As stated earlier, the commit to add this to ATV is public for any other images that want to add it to their code.
How are you obtaining Satellite EPG?
Captain , what about whitelist will there be any way that can be deleted automatically after scan is it actually needed at all now on compatible recievers ?
An enigma2 scan does not create the file. An ABM scan does. ABM will need to be modified.
Generally speaking, terrestrial services do not have rytec. This is because as soon as you activate a terrestrial service, you will get 7 days EPG within a few seconds.
Anyway, if there is a provider for the satellite channel, you can give the channel names and service references to the Rytec team and the EPG will work.
Finally got to watch a film last night.
Went into VOD. Sorted A-Z. Choose film. Return to lists. Sort order isn't remembered.
How long has that been broke. Doh!
This is a problem when you code all the time, you never actually get time to use your plugins.
I'm pretty sure this was mentioned a long time ago. Anyway, you are on the case now.
It would be good to also show the the sub-category you are in at the top. Adventure, Action etc instead of just "Movies"
The best thing to happen is:
ATV use the manufacture's splash logo for creating the splash.bin. Vix do this. PLi do not add it at all.
They have been asked several times, but haven't changed it yet. Best you ask Captain yourself.
Most people flash using ofgwrite from within a running image nowadays instead of flashing by USB stick, so that file is never written anyway! Although the images use different terms (Image manager, flash online, flash image) they all use ofgwrite.
Simplest thing:
If you are flashing an ATV image by USB, delete the splash.bin, that way it won't overwrite the manufacturer logo
If you have previously already flashed ATV, then just flash the correct manufacturer splash.bin. The files in that attachment won't overwrite the image.
The same applies to the HiSilicon devices too.
