There could be a driver update for your receiver, but you have not said what box you have.

Discussion of article FTP: 4.4 branch images:
QuoteHow to setup an FTP and SSH Password for Enigma2 Receivers using Images built on the OE-Alliance 4.4 branch. -
Which exact image do you have? Version and date please. You don't need to download any ipks
-
There is never a final version, updates are always made. Nor is there a "this version". Builds are run almost daily and will always have some changes.
6.4 is stable, not beta.
-
Sellam, It is a beta which is still instable but the current without errors is the 6.3
Walaikum salam. Please check what you download. Links below
The full version of 6.4 is still not realeased?
I don't know what you mean by full.
If you download the "currrent" ATV, it will now be 6.4.
Current images (will always point to the latest current) . So a few days ago it was 6.3. It is now 6.4
Static 6.4 link (will always point to 6.4 when ATV changes to 6.5)
Static 6.3 link (will always point to 6.3)
-
OpenATV's "current" image is now 6.4.
Just to remind everyone, FTP will require a password. You can issue the passwd command and set it that way. Or using the password screen in the network menu. The same applies to all images using 4.4 branch.

As of OpenViX 5.3 017, there is now a functionality to show picons when you select services using numbers. Thanks to SimonC.
This is configurable provided the screen is called "NumberZapPicon". Default is disabled.
Up (next to OK) > Menu > Configuration > Show picons during channel input
or
Menu > Setup > User interface > Channel selection > Show picons during channel inputThis requires changes to skins that wish to support it. As an interim and for those who wish to use it, please find attached a skin override file to effect this. It is based on FullNightHD. Place the file in /etc/enigma2. If you wish to keep this file, you can add this to your backups.
If you skin has a default picon, this will be shown. You can add a blank file to avoid this
For skinners wanting to add this (please note screen name difference otherwsie config option will not apply), the relevant section isCode<widget source="Service" render="Picon" position="0,160" size="220,132" alphatest="blend" backgroundColor="background" transparent="1"> <convert type="ServiceName">Reference</convert> </widget>

Well, that is not enough. You need the conf file too.
Other images have the basic files, so just transferring the server file works on those images. ViX does not have any can config files, so you have to transfer everything.
Sorry, not at home otherwise would have uploaded some for you. Sample files are on forum.

Post a screenshot showing contents of etc/tuxbox/config please.
If you want to flash another image, you don't have to use a USB stick. You can flash using Image Manager.
Blue , ViX, ImageManager
-
I understand what you said.
Which image allows the higher numbers?
-
I would have thought 10000 channels was enough. I will pass the message on.
You can select by satellite too until it is changed. (not promising it will be)
-
On OpeVix, your config files need to be in /etc/tuxbox/config
You can actually put them in any of the oscam locations, but you would need to start it by command line. Vix's softcam manager, back manager, restore wizard has been using that location for donkeys years so no point changing it as it is still a valid location.
-
sir the point is how to delete or add transponders/TPs in sattilete.xml through pc
If you just do that, nobody else will benefit.
Use Notepad++ to edit the file. Put your personal file in /etc /enigma2 so that it is not overridden by system updates.

Both PLi and OE-A images use a script to scrape from Lyngsat. Best changes are submitted to Lyngsat.
-
The details are obtained from lyngsat. If you update them, it will filter down to images.
-
Okay good stuff, what are the actual changes in 6.5 ??
I tested the "untested Duo4k image" without restore of settings, audio works but no picture when on a FTA channel...... cant test further.
Thanks
The one today should be fine. Thanks to Tromo. Will fix other OE-A images too

The SIM card is the same size. What is important is whether it is an A8P, Sim2, Esta or other SIM.
If you are not going to flash a different image, then you don't need to know unless it crashes.
-
Best you check what SIM card you have in the receiver before you flash it.
