    Install OpenATV 6.1 tomorrow

    where can i download the LriaZer's fix libdvbsi++ on OE-A 4.0 thanks

    The file can be found below (as well as attached to this post) It is only for mipsel receivers.

    Please backup and save your image ready to reflash just in case there is a problem.

    Transfer to /tmp and then install with this command

    opkg --force-overwrite --force-downgrade install /tmp/*.ipk

    libdvbsi++1_0.3.8-r0_mips32el.ipk

    There are three patches which all work. You can't use all three.

    The claims that audio streams were not looked are not true. We started doing this on 11 Nov. I finally uploaded older stream recordings to compare, and the fix was done. It won't be right sharing what was sent in private.

    LriaZer's patch works. It is the first working one. He uploaded it at 2017-11-17 15:42:47 This included him having had to create the build environment first. So the patch was done long before then. You can force the install of libdvbsi++ on OE-A 4.0 images and the problem is avoided

    Hackmax's post on DW was 2017-11-17 15:49:xx

    The patch by Athoik/Huevos has gone into OE Alliance 4.1 branch 4.1 last night. The submodule update was done this morning. You will have to wait until Sunday for images to include the modified libdvbsi++ file

    The fix is for Virgin to broadcast using correct parameters.

    Note:

    OpenATV 5.0, Vix 5.0 and PLi 6.0 will not get the update

    OpenATV 6.1 images are here

    Code
    http://images.mynonpublic.com/openatv/6.1/

    The dependency on e2 should be removed as well as the gcc version. Should also me mipsel to avoid incoreect installation.

    You are making incorrect assumptions.

    EPG is one thing.

    CrossEPG downloader is another thing

    EPG importer is another thing.

    Absorbing EPG from the signal stream is another thing.

    Jensens's provider file is another thing

    Your problem is that you do not have EPG after restart. Saying CrossEPG does not load after restart does not make sense.

    I have posted the solution for you. Which do you want to use?

    Options for you to consider.

    1.

    Forget CrossEPG downloader. Uninstall it if you can't get it out of your head.

    Use EPG importer plugin alone.

    2.

    Use OpenTV epg only for CrossEPG. i.e DO NOT use any Rytec/XMLTV sources

    Select/tune/zap to VM preview channel daily for two minutes. You can automate the zapping by use of EPG refresh plugin

    Note: EPG refresh is just a clever zapper.

    The only image that seems to work fine with CrossEPG and Rytec is Blackhole.

    Please post an introduction as per forum rules.

    I have moved your posts into own thread. If you are using Rytec's data, best you just use EPG importer plugin. Forget CrossEPG.
