  • Best Enigma2 image for IPTV?

    Hello!

    I have an enigma2 based VU+ SOLO2 decoder running a OpenBlackHole image. The device is amazing, and it runs IPTV channels perfectly, and zapping through channels is almost identical to watching Satellite channels, and it's by far a much better experience than any android STB in my opinion.


    But as we know, most IPTV providers do not adapt their services to Enigma2, especially with regarding to EPG and PICONS, and it isn't easy at all to edit channels manually.


    My question is - is there an Enigma2 build that is especially optimized for watching IPTV? Ot is there a way to improve the EPG, Picons and channels refresh?

    I also tried all kinds of plugins like XCPlugin, but it's not the same as using the built-in system.

  • Best image and method to watch IPTV on the VU+ Solo2???

    Hello everyone!


    I recently discovered the amazing world of IPTV , and using the BlackHole images it is possible to have the IPTV channels list just as a normal satellite tv list.
    unfortunately, the BH images iptv capabilities aren't the best, it's difficult to configure picons and EPG for channels.


    WHat is in your opinion the best way to watch IPTV channels on our Solo2?

    Has anyone tested this with Spotify at all? I need some kind of solution to play Spotify over the VTI image, and this seems to be the nearest solution - but something is wrong with my config I guess...


    I don't use Spotify usually, but I tried it on my iPad, and sadly it didn't work. Even after chosing Airplayer E2, it immediately reverts to the device and never streams any audio.


    Maybe tosbaha2k can help with this :)

  • Airplayer 0.4.2 fixed for iOS 8

    After testing Airplayer version 04.3 for a while, I must say I'm really impressed, tosbaha2k has done a terrific job!!


    Here is my configuration:
    1) VU+ SOLO2 receiver with latest BlackHole image 2.1.3
    2) latest update of Airplayer version 0.4.3 (although it shows as 0.4.2 in the addon settings!)
    3) iPad 3 with IOS 8.1 jailbroken
    4) I added the two files tosbaha2k suggested adding - air2.service and raop.service - with the appropriate changes according to the MAC address.


    Now, my iPad recognizes the airplayer server almost all the time. The trick I use to make applications work flawlessly is to FIRST enable the airplay function to the receiver through the ios ceontrol center, and only after that open the application. This way, streaming works very well.
    I tried the youtube apps - Jasmine and ProTube Hd, and they both work fine.
    Most of all, the most important app for me, MovieBox , is finally working this way, by enabling airplay to the receiver before running the MovieBox app.

  • problems with 3d MKV files

    I'm uploading a 3D sample file, can someone please load this 3D mkv file on his SOLO2 and see if it shows as a half-SBS 3D file?
    Your TV doesn't have to be 3D capable.

    version 0.4.3 still shows 0.4.2. in the box. Is it a bug or am I missing something???

  • problems with 3d MKV files

    Hello everyone.


    I'm having problems running some mkv file with 3d Half-SBS mode.


    My samsung tv is 3d capable, and for some reason, my SOLO2 with BlackHole image is showing the 3d mkv files as regular 2d files, while their actually half-sbs files.


    Is there any reason for that?


    I tried the stock media player and the plugin "Media Center".



    Here is some data about one of those file

    I used my own key I got after donating.
    I have an original VU SOLO2 with BlackHole image.


    Unfortunately it's not really working on IOS 8 even after enabling the IOS8 workaround.


    In 0.4.2, Icould see the Airplay server, but it doesn't connect at all and doesn't stream anything.
    In 0.4.3, I can't see the Airplay server at all, and even on another device with IOS7, I can see the Airplay server, but it doesn't stream anything.


    Any idea???

  • problems with CCCAM settings

    Hello everyone


    I'm trying to configure a CCCAM client for my VU SOLO2 running Black Hole 2.1.0.1.


    MGCAMD worked really fine, but I can't get CCCAM to work at all.


    I first installed a CCCAM ipk file from this board:

    Then I configured a C line in the "cccamd.list" file in the directory /var/keys"


    After running the, nothing works, CCCAM can't connect to any server.
    The CCCAM info page shows it's not connecting to any server.


    The network is running fine (MGCAMD is working at the same time), and I'm perfectly sure my C LINE is working fine, since I've used it on another box without any problems.


    Am I doing something wrong?
    It looks as CCCAM can't reach the server.... Maybe the C line setting? should add anything in the end of the line?
    Any other suggestion?
