  • OSCam_11.683-r798.sh install missing in OpenEight

    the problem is that in the .ipk is a "postinst" file in the control file,which depending the image, creates and the paths, and installs files.

    for openeight (and a few other images) is the below command

    which creates dir in usr/bin/cam, and which is an old dir of alliance images, but as i can see in newest images, this has changed...

    i think that he tries to create a "universal" file , which will work in all images,

    but there are many images, and all of them are doing changes... so it is not easy to "keep updated" all them.

    in any case, you can do a report to the files author (i think that there is a thread in linuxsat) and than it is his job to fix it...

    where did you found and installed this version of oscam (or oscam-emu?)


    i am not sure of what still works or happens, but the last time that i used openeight, i installed the "openeight secret feed" from this thread OpenEight Softcam Feed , i installed the (this time) latest oscam-emu, and it worked perfect...

    the file installed just as "oscam-emu" (both .bin file and script "softcam-oscam-emu) without any special version naming, and i think that in any updates, they just upgrading the .bin file...


    for the moment, in a quick view, in the receiver it looks active


    in telnet not...

    or you can try the files that i downloaded from this feed (but i think that alliance looks common now with other images) and if you want to update oscam-emu, just rename/replace oscam-emu.bin

    αλλα ας γραψω και κατι παραπανω...

    γιατι θελεις να κρατησεις το original image?

    δεν ειναι μονο το cam και η προσθηκη του, αλλα τα image ομαδων, παντα εχουν απλοποιημενες λυσεις σε πολλα πραγματα, οποτε προταση μου ειναι να βαλεις καποιο image ομαδας...

    το script φαινεται να ειναι για να εκκινει το oscam.


    τωρα το σφαλμα γιατι το βγαζει...αυτο λεει οτι λειπει το .bin, αλλα εσυ λες οτι δουλευει κανονικα...

  • Settings import from other multiboot images

    when you are installing an image to multiboot, through internal installer, it asks you to install with or without backup and which slot,

    and when the new image is booting, it asks you to restore them...


    but because i know the other conversation (and not all doing that) you are not giving (again) a few more info (to help you easier someone who knows ) which image is that, because if that image is "define os" , it isn't enigma2 and i don't know the compatibility with enigma2 ... maybe by using a settings tool (dreamset/dreamboxedit ) you can do the job, or as jenseneverest said, you can take those files, and place them to the correct dir (in define os, i thing is another...)

    also if you want the channels and not only the favorites, you need and the lame.db files, but for replacing them, in enigma2 you need to stop enigma by giving "init 3 "in telnet (i haven't try define os, i don't know if the same happens there)

  • Oscam Emu with TNAP

    in the far past, i did a few experiments in v3.2 if i remember correct... and i did it work, using the below files...

    (the files in usr/bin and etc/init.d needs atr 755)

    install first the "softcam-support.ipk"


    p.s the softcam.key file and the oscam-emu.bin file, aren't the latest...


    also, if i remember correct, there was and a refer that it was working using levi universal cam manager...



    and... i will ask and you, as other users. is any special reason to use this image? (as satellites reception or something?)

    tnap is a really fast, but also and empty image (maybe the perfect for the job that it builded, but not for everyone)...there are a lot of images that support emu and more things, depends what you want. mio offers you 4 slots, to install for images, test them and select the better one for you.

  • Abertis T2MI channels on Hispasat

    abertis isn't T2MI ... it is another story...


    you need to install astra-sm , the abertis-arm bin,add the channels in lame.db and the channel list-fav bouquet which will work in internal sttream.


    and of course you need the biss keys. everything has posted many times, you will find them in a search...

    you are not getting answer for installed packages, but for available. (maybe there is something in control file, or it keeps it in var/list/opkg/status from older installation)

    δε ζητας κατι ευκολο...


    το plugin ειχε φτιαχτει σε παλαιοτερο Ο.Ε ...

    το openpli 8 ειναι σε O.E zeus...

    οποτε, η θα πρεπει να φτιαχτει το plugin απο την αρχη και να ειναι συμβατο με νεωτερα o.e (δυσκολο, μια και ο δημιουργος του εχει αποσυρθει),

    η να προσθεσει/ διορθωσει καποια πραγματα η openpli ( οπως εκαναν και αλλες ομαδες), ωστε να "καθεται"; σωστα στο 8, γιατι αν βαλεις το wget απο εξωτερικη πηγη, μετα θα εχεις αλλα προβληματα με το image...

    1) σε αυτη την περιπτωση πρεπει να το αποσυμπιεσεις στο στικακι.

    2) αναλογα την ομαδα, δυστυχως αλλαζει και το ονομα (και το νοημα). πχ το pure2 που αναφερεις, δεν εχει πουθενα την ονομασια multiboot. ως multiboot ομως εννοει το "xxx_usb.zip" , ενω το full ειναι στον φακελο "recovery" ...(και εχω την εντυπωση οτι το ιδιο συμβαινει με ολα τα image που ειναι σε o.e alliance).


    επισης, σε αυτη την περιπτωση θα πανε περιπατο και ολα τα αλλα image που εχεις, και στη θεση 1 θα μπει αυτο.

    τωρα... κολλημα εγω προσωπικα δεν εχω συναντησει...

    εχω ομως δει απο , λιστα καναλιων, free-server plugin και τωρα βλεπω και το xtreamity...(να υπαρχουν ως αναφορα)

    τοτε κατι δεν παει καλα με το xtreamity...

    αφου ο δεκτης εχει 4 slot, βαλε ενα image στο δευτερο χωρις το plugin, και αν θες κανε πειραματα σε ενα τριτο slot...


    τωρα... δεν ξερω πως και τι ειναι το plugin, με ftp στο usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions σβησε τον φακελο του plugin και κανε reboot...


    δεν ξερω ομως που μπορει να πηγαινουν αλλα αρχεια του (καποιο script, η καποια λιστα καναλλιων)...
